Just like human genetics- where your 10x great grandfather genes still exist in you, albeit at a very small percentage, plant genetics are the same. A trait that was attempted to be bred out- still exists and can show up at anytime. The more you breed, the lower the percentage- but it will never be zero. Similar to calculating the half life of a radioactive material. It divides in half over and over but will never be zero.

That's why quality breeders are respected.

Testing hundreds or thousands of seeds to see if hermaphrodite or ruderalis traits exist in proginy is extremely difficult and time consuming. This is further complicated by breeding with f1 plants. That's a major reason for the genetic instability of modern crosses. People want "new" so much that polyhybrids are being crossed with polyhybrids at a rate that creating stable lines with those genetics is increasingly difficult.

Breeder flowering times are a guideline at best. Everyone’s environment and lighting will be different producing various finish times. Learn to read the plant and trichomes and they are done when they are done. Timelines are for production cannabis looking for most cost efficient cannabis, not for home growers looking to produce the best quality cannabis humanly possible.

I haven't any trichomes yet.

When I was first starting with photos, I had a couple mixed in with my autos. I'd just take the photos out of the tent and stick them in a dark closet for 12 hours at a time while I kept blasting the autos with light. Minor pain in the nuts, but no real need to disrupt the rest of your grow.

I'll just leave the photo in the tent and reveg it when the auto is done.

I have no closets in the basement.

You don't need a tent to veg really. If you have a spare light, put the photo outside the tent for a week then clone it and toss it in. You know you'll be getting another tent anyways :bigjoint:
