Got my elk 2day

im picking up my elk mount 2day at 3 oclock. i'l post pics when he is on my wall

well here he is up on the wall, home were he should be LOL.. just got him back yesterday.. man am i so stoked over him..

did you not leave the taxi enough of the cape at the neck ? His neck looks skinny to me . That said any bull is a trophy . That sir is a dandy .

ya i did fuck up when i cut off his head i should have cut just behind his front shoulders. this was my 1st so i did learn from it.. i think the shine is from the flash from the camera..

.This is my 2010 Oregon bull from the west side. Most taxi want half the animal for a shoulder mount . Its easy to get excited in the heat of the moment .I hunt the cascade range I wish i has a coastal place where i could locate as well as i do in the 5-6 thousand foot ranges . I horn mounted this stud only because i thought it was a tad smaller then one of my others. After scoring it was 305-7/8 . The one i had shoulder mounter was 301 . Now i just got to learn to be the guy that instead of getting lucky once in a while , eats every year . Congrats again on a nice bull man .
