hey guys i doing a hidroponics system and was wourding what kind of nuts do yall use if any cuse iam try to figure every thing out before i start the grow.....and if yall have any info on hydroponics you can just let me know cuse i dont want to forget any thing. thanks for the help... oh yeah if you want to see the system iam running here you go... I've been General Hydroponics for years with great results. The biggest I made starting out in hydro was burning my plants with to much to soon. start with a little and work up. Keep us posted on your grow. I would like to know how it works out.

I just picked up some dutch master gold veg and flower and also cal mag. If you are using distilled water or RO water you might really need cal mag

whats a cal mag and what is RO water

RO = reverse osmoses
Tap water has a ppm of around 200. RO is filtered so its starting ppm is a lot lower around 5-20 Cal Mag is a Calcium and magnesium additive. Most nutrients dont have enough in them so they help a lot if u use distilled or RO water. Have you seen the how to green videos on you tube?
If i was you I would wait a second before you gt that system there is a lot better shit out there that would be cheaper for almost half the price. Just trying to help though so if u like it get it

Hey Pig Pen I have some magnesium tablets made for humans. You reckon it be a good idear to dissolve one in the water next time I water? I am using a cross bred AG with Hempy buckets with Pro Blend Bloom right now. I am using stale tap water which I think registers about 153 PPM. I have also been wondering this: I have an airpump and small airstone which I was using back before I disassembled the AG. Mainly just using the lights on the buckets..along with a bunch of added cfls. Would it do any good to aereate the water which is going into the buckets prior to dumping it? Too late to put it in the bottom of the bucket..but they seem to be growing purty good. The big one got a little brown around some of the outside leaves which I think where it has been touching the cfls. The little one aint tall enough to bump into the lights yet and it perfectly green. I am in about the 3rd week of bloom and on 12/12s but they dont seem to be making much progress. Thanks for any input. Ya know the output of an RO system has a lot to do with how old is the membrane..if it needs changing etc. Had a water softner salesman tell me that one time anyway. It gets to the poiint at some point it comes out just tap water. Guess thats why the PPM measurements is so crucial when messing with hydro.

hey big wheel I would probably stay away from adding mag tablets because it may be 2 much of a consetrated amount. Also it could throw your ph way off. Also stirring the water before cant be bad at the most it will let more oxygen in witch is a good thing because it will help the roots out

Wow thats a tiny area but I guess its possible Im not that good with small grow spaces so maybie some one else can help you out better but that means you are going to have to keep your plants very short so you need to go with a Indica. I guess go with that kit but 14 plants is a lot for that size. I would say 4 tops. But I could be wrong.

yeah i wasent going to put more then 5 in it 4 at each coner and 1 right in the middle and yeah i have a lready picked out the plaint that iam going to grow in it and it only gets like 16inchs tall and 12 around so yeah they should work

i burned my NUTS can anyone help?

seriously, i just found out my air stones got plugged up and started to cause root rot. first time.

i replaced the stones and res and added ~2.5ml of 50% h2o2 and 1 gallon of plain water to my AG.
also due to my timing mishap and adding bloom nutes to early i developed alot of salt type deposits. needless to say i had to clean everything.


flushing with plain water(1 gal) and topped off with my other gallon of res solution.

anyhow, love that NUTS comment. thats too funny from whoever started this thread.

yeah well when i made it i didnt think about it ...so oh well.... but yeah thanks guys for the little bit of help i got but its ok cuse i know we are all high so it doesent bother me to much
