Got Questions on early sexing... Is This A Good Method??

how well does this early sexing method work?
putting your plants under 12h for 2 weeks,
then seperate the sexes,
then put the females back into 18h?
i got the time but does it hurt the plants at all?

take a couple clones from each and just sex those?
that way you wouldnt have to stress the plant itself

It works, but just makes the grow take about 4-6 weeks longer in all. A better method would be to make clones of the plants and once they root then flower the clones, whatever sex the clones are the mothers( Or god forbid FATHERS) will be also. You could also put a light proof bag over one branch and every 12 hours take it off for 12 hours, then the branch will show sex.

1 other method, and this is the one I used for the most part and will continue using if I ever grow from seed again. I let them grow until they show Preflowers, most strains take 4-6 weeks to show.

i think thats what i'll do then, take some clones, toss em in my clone machin, then into 12h, i need the mom's big anyhow, and there are at leaste 2 bottom shoots on each plant more then 5" to do it with, thanks for the feedback. think thats what i'll try.

Wait or look for pre-flowers. They should be on 5th or 6th node.

No they appear on the 5 or 6th node.
