Got some questions

Ok this is my third attempted at growing, I used some seeds my stash and finally got a female. Anyways I searched this already and didn't come up with a specific answer. How long are you suppose to veg for and how long do you flower for.

your answer really depends on you.
what kind of lights?
how much space?
how big do you want her to get?
is it indica dominant, or sativa dominant?
how do you know it's a female if you don't know this other basic info?
do you really hust have a seedling, and you are just calling it a female because it sprouted?

i vegged for a month then i put the babies in flower..out of six plants i got two females.. but flowering depends on when the trichomes are ready and how high you wanna get..

Its a 2x2x5 foot area in the closet, I got five flourescent (the box said growing lights) mounted to a board hanging right over top. Its got the pistols so its def a female. This one is only about 20 inches tall or so and has been flowering for about a month I think. Id like to be able to grow another one about 3 foot.

you veg for as long as you want to. the longer you veg the bigger your plant will get and you'll yeild more. your already atleast maybe 3 weeks into flowering? all the trichs will get cloudy thenturn an amber color when ready. indicas take around 8-9 weeks, and sativas 10-12.

trichs are trichomes(the crystals), and they are too small to see without magnification. all of the hairs changing to red is a good indication of a ripening plant.

based on the shape of your leaves i would expect at least 9 or 10 weeks of bloom.

i would take that cover off of the lights if i were you. im sure it is reflecting a portion of your usable light back into itself

Ok I'll take the covers off this afternoon I didn't even think about them. Thanks for the info on the triches I've been meaning to get a magnefiying glass just so I could look at the crystals and be able to spot a male plant quicker.
