BC - Yeah Ive got some B and M coming. Ill be using it with used/recycled promix, it lacks bb and mb. Just this first run im not using it. How long does the B and M last? I got the 200g containers. At plant lighting hydroponics, it says they have a 200g $30 and a 300g $55. Other places have 200g and 400g. Whats up with that? Mistake on PLHs part? I just would rather get two 200g containers for $60 than one 300g for $55.

I use promix as well but plan to make a tea for adding the B and M subculture. I also have the 200g packages and would rather go that way because this stuff does expire. Mine both expire next july, but i am sure ill use them up before then.
My guess depending how you use them they will last me 2-4 grows, I am putting my plants into 5 gallons today or tomarrow and will be mixing these in with the soil. The M requires 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons for a root drench and the B requires1 teaspoon per 5 gallons for a root drench so you can see that the M will probably disapear a little faster.

My dry estimate is just over 2 ounces from those 4 herms. They are in containers curing now. Smoked some earlier, tasted like hay still, but gave me a really crazy head high. It was like a heady energetic high, but at the same time I couldnt consentrate on anything. Almost like my mind was in a loop, I thought about typing but I just couldnt do it. Wierd, different.

I weighed it out......83.5g dry. Not including the scrappy stuff I through in with the sugar leafs for butter. Thats just under 3oz.....not bad for an early chop. The last BM looks leafier than these ones did.. The super skunk is filling out nice, I might get 1.5oz from it.

Thank you. Im glad I got a few done before diving right into a perpetual with clones.
I have my paper towels and 4" squares ready, just waiting on the seeds. Ill be germing and planting all 5 Bubbas. They will start under 96w of T5HOs. The one that I like most will keep vegging under T5HOs as a mother. The other 4 will go into the tent after about 4 weeks veg time under the 42w CFLs. Then it all clones from there.
Im starting to like the high from the Blue Mystic as well.

I'm sure you know how to germinate a seed fine and dandy, but I'm a big proponent of the plant-directly-in-your-moistened-medium-and-let-nature-do-its-thing method of germination. Paper towels are great for old seeds where you are testing the viability, but healthy fresh seeds don't need the unnecessary extra handling.
Most people screw up by planting the seed too deep...it only needs to be covered by 1/4", or one seed length deep.
But do whichever method makes you comfortable...the most important thing is to get a sprout, regardless how you do it.

Im going to plant directly this time as well. What size starters do you use? Im debating starting in 1 gallon containers now, so I would only be transplanting once.
I use a 24oz, 4" tall clear plastic cup. I put some straight Fox Farm Light Warrior on top of my homemade soilless mix, which sometimes is a bit hot, but whatever. I usually transplant once or twice, depending on the plant.
I recommend starting in as large of a container as you can accommodate. I use the plastic cups because they save on space and I don't mind transplanting so much.

nice thread mr Gotti , made a boring night better, i will be copying your co2 idea, using the home brewing style plastic barrels, good shout ....i also grow vert using parabolic shades(umbrella style), i swear by it spec in soil , bulb can be much closer and soil stays fresher!! rep to you sir =)

Im glad you enjoyed it, stick around for plenty more. I like the C02 but Ill be using my scuba tanks as soon as i get some new valves and some regulators. The bottles are a good way to buy me some time until my wife will allow me to spend another thousand dollars on equipment.
I was looking into those umbrellas. It appears it would help illuminate the canopy an the backsides more, while still having the vertical bulb in the center.
