Tesla pickup is due out this fall.....wait and take a look. I think it will be a hot seller.
Gotta admire your steadfast support, love and promotion of the electric vehicle these last few years. Most people this excited about them have become owners. I hope one of these years you'll finally get on board and get one yourself. I believe they're also good for the environment.

We have zoning laws that require industrial activities take place separately from high density housing. Why should oil and gas drilling be any different from a fiberglass factory in locating it so that residents of the community aren't harmed by its emissions and accidents?
because merikans are strong and beautiful. We don't kneed mo regulation.Trump 2020

I voted for the setbacks!
Could not imagine my house blowing up and killing me or mine(which happened) or my water lighting on fire(which also happened) for some corporate bottom line.

We decided we didn’t like oil money buying propaganda to snow the citizens
Just shows who or what is in charge.
The people of Colorado decided that money is more important than health or well being
Or...
The votes of the people of Colorado can be bought off.

Big oil tried to snow us with propaganda but we sent in enough dems to hand them a loss

I have every intention of being completely solar eventually. My farm is off grid and solar. Developing the farm 2 years ago set me back on buying a tesla. Farm will be paid off this fall and i can use equity to purchase Tesla. The truck is something I really want to see..

You know...
There are houses being built on the Rocky Flats grounds and the state is thinking of running a road right through the old plant site.
The Gates superfund site near downtown Denver is being prepped for apartment construction.

I live in Oregon and so am not all that well informed about Colorado's politics. Some explanatory links would be appreciated.

Ah, ok. Not everyone has the funds to go electric. Not much info on that truck yet, other than it'll be expensive.

You can get a fully equipped Kia all electric SUV with a 270 mile range for 30,000 dollars.

EVs are fast getting to the point of being no more expensive than a regular car.

What's more, with 40 new EVs from every manufacturer due to hit the streets over the next year or two, they're only going to get cheaper.

Hell, go buy a decent used Nissan Leaf while you wait 4 or 5 years for a Tesla.

Tesla isn't going to be a major player anymore.

The model 3 is junk. The S is very nice, but the Jaguar is better and cheaper.

If I were going to spend 80,000 dollars on a car, it sure as hell wouldn't be a Tesla.

They had the advantage for the last two years of being the only game in town.

That is all over now.

Jaguar I-Pace isn't selling well.....
"The Jaguar I-Pace made headlines at the New York International Auto Show by winning the World Car of the Year Award, as well as the organization's awards for Design of the Year and Green Car of the Year. However, the I-Pace isn't winning where it counts: at the dealership.
The Jaguar all-electric crossover SUV has sold just 608 units in the U.S. through March plus another 393 late last year, according to Automotive News.
Meanwhile, Tesla has sold an estimated 3,850 Model X crossovers, as tallied by InsideEVs, through the first three months of 2019."

Rocky Flats is where the countries nukes were made. Where the plutonium was processed into triggers.
It was raided by the FBI for violating environmental laws and the government(at the time) covered it up.
Then closed down a few years later for a couple reasons- one was the danger(Denver, a growing city, was 20 miles away) and one was they had enough nukes and were subject to nuke treaties and had to downsize the fleet(which gave them more plutonium from the old bombs), and placed on the superfund site, and fast tracked to quick cleanup.
I understand...100 kilos of plutonium went missing.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_Flats_Plant

Now..The land is basically in the middle of the suburbs and been turned into a wildlife refuge(still too "hot" for people to visit), with housing right up against the fence. A fair chunk of the land was sold to developers.

Well, yes, I know the history of Rocky Flats. I've read about the downwinders and the tortuous history. I'm just wondering where the article that details what you are claiming comes from. I can search Google and find out for myself but I was wondering if I could see what you were citing so that we could start off with the same information.
