can someone teach me tag graffiti on paper with pens and shit.
iunno how to do it
like highphi said earlier, just pick/use a nickname and start drawing it out...repeat many many many times and you will aquire ur own style. not really something that can be taught. more of a creativity thing....:hump:

just start drawing words

basically
get something fairly consistent, something you can do time and time again that looks good, and doens't take too too long...

start small
find your style

i still find nothing wrong with walking along the wash and alleyways, painting the walls and bringnig some color and life to an otherwise drab environment... i don't paint on houses, just back walls in alleyways, where the only people seeing them are other street rats like myself walking the same empty alleys... and i would love to have a backyard with a wall i could paint all day... it'd make me feel so much more comfortable about writing, lol...

just like with every part of life, you gotta have a lotta respect for certain things if your gonna go painting in public... cuz painting the wrong place could get you in jail or in the grave.... just depends

i'll put up some art eventually when i either get my scanner or camera working... lol

fuck the buff!!!

you get an eye for it and can start picking things out...

and yeah, also, some are just impossible to read unless you ask the artist what the fuck they just put up... lol

any sharpie will do
pencils are fine

i found it easier to learn using chisel tip nikos or fat markers. try writing your name with different sized letters, letters on slopes, block letters, add tails etc on to letters.

^^okay some of you seem to know a fair bit about graf, i, myself have been painting for 5 years on and off (will post flicks momentarily.)

And so I have a question, what Pens do you use to tag with? I am thinking of getting an OTR flowpen but is there better options? Does the Flowpen have the spring in to vary the pressure or whatever? what do you use?

i dont really ever go "tagging". never really did. thats the kind of vandalism everyone is talking about. i for 1 dont really condone damaging other peoples property in that way.
but if i was to, id take a pilot fat marker with me....only one that lasts.

^^Okay, i'm not going to argue, but i will not be damaging other peoples property, there is a difference. For example tagging a shop window is ludicrous and very unthoughtful and as you say, damaging others property. However, I shall not be doing this. But thanks for the tip, I will look into Pilot.

as for markers, i'm a poor kid mostly, and a bit of a punk... haha..

but yeah, i just raid the michaels, pick up whatever paint markers are easiest... usually woodcrafts.. and i respect all local stores and houses here... there can be some ethics to this art... don't lump everyone together...
