Grafted Mother Plants

hmm .. it would be nice if u could graft a cannabis plant to a tree and then have it regrow each year .. but its not possible cause the properties of cannabis is to DIE!!

Actually you can regrow cannabis after it flowers (indoors), it's called reveging, it's a pretty common thing to do, but after about the 3rd tie flowering the yield and quality start to degrade.
Cannabis is an annual, which means it should die after flowering, but it can be forced to grow as a perennial in the right environment, which means it can grow for multiple years, and flower multiple times.

If you want 2-3 harvests of one plant, and you're growing indoors, look into reveg mate, it's easy as.

its not often i get my eyebrow raised, but u kind sir have done it. i dont see any reason it wouldnt work. what medium will u be useing? sounds like it would be fitted well for hydro, at least to get it started.

just for my own curiosity, what do yall think would happen if you grafted say 4 pot plants just like your talking about, but in halves. a right side and a left right down the middle. train it to lay down like a SCOG but also have something to stand up just above the main stock like a divider (lets say a piece of plywood or card board, something light cant get through). so on each side of this divider yould have half a plant (2 grafts on each side). what do you think the odds are that you flower 1/2 a plant at a time? kinda like the way you can make a plant flower just 1 branch to check sex, just bigger. would each grafted plant make its own hormoans to flower?

I honestly don't know if that would work... Could be interesting to try though! ... Would be hard to fix light leaks I would think, or do you mean flower both sides at once, but have them properly divided so you know which strain is which?

I'll run with soil to start with, slower growth I know, but also more basic, and more forgiving. I still have to get the plants required and I feel more research would benefit me anyway.

I hope I'm gonna be able to do this over the winter. I'm gonna get Nirvana's B-52, I plan on getting another strain or two after a round of sog, then some frissian dew(sp) from dutch passion, and hopefully I'll be able to put em all together early on in the season and plant it outdoors(I'm hoping for a big-ass frankenstein-lookin motherfucker)

I've got a pack of B-52, haven't grown them yet, might run them beside some big bud just to get a quick, large stash of average weed for the mates who don't like the really intense stuff.

Let me know how those B-52's run mate. I'm keen to see them grow but they're not in my game plan just yet.

Sweet as mate. I'm in the same boat. Got about 6 packs of seeds, unopened that I don't even plan on growing for a long time, got other things to grow first haha.
Just saying, if you get onto the B-52's before me, and can remember to, let me know how they go, do a grow journal, or post some pics, I'd check it out.

Haven't decided yet, thinking I'll just run them in soil till I find the pheno I want as a mother, then run 4 in a aero/hydro combination system.
