Think about it. If there are no competitive spores in a jar, how can 90 degrees make them appear?

BTW, 90 isn't all that hot. 84 is optimum but short trips to 90 or even higher aren't all that bad.

Yes i realized that i messed up throwing one out , i put the other inside a ziplock away from my other jars and the mycelium fully colonized the dark green/black spot, the one i threw away looked more green but i think it was probably ok... what you think contaminated or naw?

Also can i case this jar using you method of cocoa and verm. Or does it only work with pc?
 
Uh-oh...seeing some green colors brewing in the cake...not really concerned didnt expect much after this flush anyway...this flush does seem to be producing some rather large mushrooms though...bigger than previous flushes anyway...I'll prolly bury this cake after this flush 20201020_112904.jpg20201020_112859.jpg20201020_112840.jpg20201020_112833.jpg

Lay a heavy dusting of baking soda on those patches and you will inhibit growth of the green for a bit. (Water the patches afterword)
