Gran Torino is probably the last great film by Eastwood we'll ever see, and yes it is an amazing movie... very very very amazing.

yeah that's what I was thinking when I was watching it . . . last movie . . .
I thought he was done when he started directing more, but I was really glad to see he was doing a flick like this, showing his tough side out but in way different of a way than I could have anticipated.

I saw the DVD Screener it was a great movie. I used to have a 72 Ranchero (torino truck) and I have a F-100 like in the movie, kick ass!

I'd say just watch it . . . I've never seen that other movie but I'm sure this movie in itself is it's own deal . . .

What torrent site you get it off. I've tried multiple torino off both demonoid and sumotorrent and can't get a decent download speed for nothing.it was really intense. it by far is my favorite eastwood movie and I've seen a lot of them. I can't really describe his character but the movie explains it best. *hint hint there is a torrent*

i plan on seeing the movie, just lookin for a comparison to anything that might be like it on the market..
im very picky about what i go to the movies to see, its not that im big on downloading things illegally, but now a days a trip to the movies cost just as much as the dvd...anywho, anyone else seen both movies and can compare?

Yeah, TPB had an awesome rip of it up and I saw it on xmas.
Definitely Eastwood's "swan song" One of the best films I've seen in a while.
It wasn't anything special........He just wasn't afraid of the PC crowd........Which is so refreshing. And, there were only a few seconds of self-righteousness - but fuck it, he deserved it for making it that well.

I don't see how this doesn't win Best Picture.
