well, i have a 150w soft white cfl it puts off some heat but im not using it yet, im using a soft white 60w right now
the room stays around 64f and it has a tiny computer fan inside of the pot to keep the air moving around the plant
Your good to go as a matter of fact 64f is a little cool, most plants thrive at around 72f. The little fan is ok for now but when that plant takes of you will need a bigger fan.

Ya get it close as possible I put the back of my hand underneath of the light to see how hot it is if it burns my hand then it will usually it will burn the plant also 64f sounds a little low to me but i could be wrong my temps are 70-72 night and 75-78 light on

this is only the 3rd day and the stem and 4 little leafs already got tiny white hairs on it
Hehehehe ya it will look like that but in a few hrs when it opens up a little more you will notice that it is just the tip's of the leaves. Keep that cfl as close as possible so that the sprout don't stretch. In a couple of week's that plant will start looking more like a pot plant and you will need more light. Save some money and buy a 70 watt HPS for her, You can buy a flood light with self firing ballast and 70 watt bulb for around 70 to 80 bucks. Good luck with your little friend.

Popcorn900 im using spring water from a bottle sometimes and tap water some times
The spring water is alright because it is distilled if you have to use tap water at least let it sit in a bucket for a couple of day to distill. A PH tester is only 5.00 and it will help if you have bad water but if you just let the water distill you should be fine. I have been growing for over five years and I have never had to test PH and all I use is tap water that has been sitting in a bucket. But other than that that plant looks good and as long as it doesn't start to turn yellow you have nothing really to worry about.

I have never been a big fan of CFL's Fluorescents or LED's as they are really only good for vegging because of their blue and white light and I also think you will have a very difficult time getting your girl to flower using a CFL if it will flower at all. You have at least a month and a half before you start the flowering cycle so you have some time to save a little money to buy a decent lamp. A HPS is very similar to natural light so it is best for flowering it will take the plant from seed to harvest with no problem. A Metal Halide is really only used for vegging as it is mostly blue and white light. For you with just one plant all you will need is the HPS and for 70 bucks like I said you can get a flood light from most hardware stores. If and when you decide to upgrade to a HID just make sure that you look at the bulb MH it doesn't matter but with HPS make sure it is a horticultural bulb or a HG(High Grow) bulb, because all HPS bulbs are not the same normal HPS is no more than a strong incandescent bulb and won't have the light spectrum your plant will need.I have been using a 600 watt hybrid system for the last three years now with great success I have the hood in a 4x4x6 mylar tent with two 6 inch inline fans(one to vent the hood and one to vent the tent and I can get the temp's down to around 85f with the hood on 70f with the hood of and my six plants that I have under the hood love it. I usually grow Kush and I veg for 60 day's then flower for 60 day's and I get just over 2 ounces a plant. A hybrid system is a ballast that can burn MH and HPS bulbs so I got a 600 watt MH for the veg cycle and a 600 watt HPS for flowering. I don't clone I always start from seed and use soil in 5 gallon pails. Nothing great about the soil it's just regular potting soil and I use a Miracle Grow nutrient(20-20-20). Like I said the water is just tap that is distilled nothing more. Also I have a 10 dollar humidifier in the tent as well because that tent and bulbs dries those plants up real fast also theres the mandatory oscillating fan as well.. One of these day's I'll get of my lazy ass and post some pic's.

P.S this rig I got was only 390.00.

Bro I'v seen the vid's of people using CFL's and getting great results BUT.... I'll let you give mepurple the advice on how to grow with CFL's as I don't use them. When or if he gets enough money to buy a HID then I can help him. @mepurple I really don't think it's a spider mite(not yet)more likely a fruit fly. Spider mites are very small and almost impossible to see without a magnifying glass. BTW mepurple how does it look today? please do a weekly pic follow-up so we can see how well a two year old seed will do(lol).

The first true leafs seem to be getting bigger, i got her on a 16/8 lighting cycle right now
The height is nice and it looks great. Keep those lights on 24/7 during the veg. You might be able to get away with 16/8 with a HID but with CFL's I would give the plant all the light it can handle. I can't tell from the pic but did those little white spots go away?
