Granulated Biochar?

If it's small enough, I don't see why not. Black Owl biochar is a good brand.
What about AirTerra? They told me it’s granulated 1-5mm size. Is that good?
I’m still trying to get a hold of the distributors of Black Owl around here, I can’t seem to find it near me(Ontario, Canada)

I was using fire place ashes and screening the char from ash. Then, put it in a pillow case and smash them with a rock and hammer. You don't want to bust up your side-walk doing this! Then, you can charge it and add it to your compost. I think that char is more important when you have low organic matter, like ground soil. Also, you should ask @DonBrennon about using too much char. I think that he is still around?
yeah, I'm going to stick to just under 5% biochar, seems like the magic number. Thanks!

I don’t know, people don’t do this i think but i use the activated carbon from water filters. I means its the same porous surface and its supposed to be uncontaminated enough to filter water so why not. Also air filters too. I mean its carbon. I really wonder if anyone else is doing this, i posted strategically around the site
