gravel at the bottom of rockwool??????

hi to all i wanted to know when i use the rockwool do in need gravel at the bottom of the net basket or not?

i am using a hydro machine that i built using a sytrofoam top with net pots hanging down in to a fish tank with a air stone in the hydro solution. please help...right now i have no gravel or rocks in the bottom and i am worried about the rockwool soaking up too much of the solution and killing the plant!

No, you do not need the pebbles. Make sure rockwool does not touch the res full of water.
