That's a bummer......no decent grow area.......I had to wait until I had my own home....maybe an autoclone ( short) would make a difference in such a tight space.

A lot of us here been growing indoors for a decade or two. Sometimes it can be enjoyful getting a new strain and watching how it grows, trying out new mediums, trying a different fertilizer ratio etc. But most of the time after so many elbows it's just isolation, paranoia, carpal tunnel syndrome etc. Jaded? Maybe. But for many of us that new car smell faded long ago.
I feel like its a lot of work. Im trying to grow once a year and freeze. I don't want to do the work year round. Thats me

It certainly can be a lot of work. Everyone's situation and setup is different. Pre-covid, I would go abroad for several weeks every winter and would need to shut everything down and then ramp everything up again. That was a lot of extra work.

As sad and horrific as this pandemic is, growing indoors has been an entertaing, fun activity. Some music, a cold one, some smokie-smoke and a pair of SHARP. surgical scissors. Let the good times roll.......beats the he'll out of watching the idiot box..Being retired you have to keep moving, be creative, have some passion for something ( like growing weed ) . It's a different story of course for the frontline workers, my heart goes out to all of them.
Agree w this whole post. I love the growing hobby in this difficult time. God bless the front line workers.

Took me running 2 tables at a time to make me hate growing. I had fun for a while but it became work. I shut everything down last year as I thought I was I was moving. Anyway, I didn't move. I scaled down the grow from 2 flower tables, 50 plants, down to 5 plants in soil. Didn't even complete the grow.
I keep telling myself to get back at it but I haven't.
