azmax is a neem based formula correct if so its fine early on but never spray neem products on flowers it smells bad and takes weeks to break down and also can burn delicate tissues. i really stand behind the spinosad it pretty much killed 60 percent of them in one spraying and i see no fresh eggs. i sprayed my newer plants again it does no harm you cannot tell its been sprayed an hour later no residue nothing and as a added bonus it kills all 3 of the worst bugs thrips spider mites and catterpillars.

go threw your buds one by one and follow the catapiller shit and eaten buds and ull soon enough find a catapiller and start plucking them one by one, its too late in the season to use spray unless u want ur buds to taste nasty after ur done plucking all the catapillers start removing all their shit and also remove thoese white eggs ASAP cause theyll hatch lol.

yes your right about bud surgery and finding the cats been doing that thanks. please read the thread though there are sprays that have no ill effects near harvests such as spinosad which killed many small ones that woul have been very difficult to remove by hand. also sometimes they eat a little from one bud and move to another i have found.

I wonder if dish soap and water would also work...keeps them from eating leaves and buds. just give her a good rinse right before harvest?

maybe but the spinosad worked very well and no rinsing needed it allowed me to harvest at normal dates im very happy.

this season i have sprayed with spinosad and bt full coverage weekly i will continue until harvest i have o0nly seen eggs undreds of the but not one dead bud so far or 1 live caterpillar this method works is harmless and safe highly recommended.

I have been hitting my plants pretty heavy with BT in powder form. The area around my grow is just inundated with moths and butterflies. Literally hundreds of them. Yet no problems with caterpillars in my buds or on my plants. If BT is used early and often it definitely keeps the egg laying bastards at bay.

I'm on my way out to spray BT, but I'm going to get some Spinosad just in case I see an actual caterpillar (or anything else at this stage of flowering). Thanks for the tip.

your bbasically fucked, same thing happend to me and i lost over 10000 in product, not trying to be a dick but thats the truth its too late to do anything just harvest and make the best of it....

next year spray bt (cattipillar killer) and drape a fine meshed shade cloth over the plants

Yea, it's a tough problem to fix once y7ou've got it. My outdoor grow got sprayed regularly with organic tea throughout veg, and I believe helped keep em' in check. I have found 3 or 4 on 2 different plants out of 46. I'm sure I'll find more, and I have some BT to spray if it gets too bad, but I usually just hand pick em' if they're not too bad.

thanks for all your info this is my first year growing and im staring deal with these worms when you r spraying bt and spinosad r u doing it from a garden hose or spray bottle?

Just pick em out by hand. and put your plant on cement pavement (if they're in pots). So catepillars won't crawl there in the first place. If they're in dirt there's probably some pesticide you could buy.

How bout using a burning laser to torch the little fkers

I always have my plants high up so only problems I've had were leaf-miners and even then I've always dealt with pests by hand early on. If I got leafminers inside the leafs I just spray neem and crush them with my fingernails for insurance.

Never really had problems with pests. Neem works really well, I don't know why some people avoid it. It's totally safe.

ok ok ok ,,what you have is possibly moths in the area which are alot of the time your worm source....i have hung other plants around my weed plants and i dose them in moth killer or whatever your using,,, that way your not spraying on your plant,,, also i have brought alot of long legger spiders into and around my plants and they have gotten tons of moths,, i hate using sprays on my plants .. also i would go to your local pet store and find something there that will eat the worms and put that insect rite on your plant...preying manthises usualy kill lots, and they are cheap, and breed alot, and they only go as far as 100yrd from where you first place them on your crop..fight mother nature with mother nature, is always best in my oopinion...
