Green LED for night cycle?

I have been reading on how green LED lights are able to be used in lights out grow rooms without disrupting the light cycle. Basically it says the plants can't see the green light. Do they really work without stressing the plants? Anybody have any experience with these types of light?

Yes, a green light is fine to have on the plants during lights out. The plants don't process green light, that's why they are the color green. No problem.

I think the reason they sell green headlamps is for checking plants, I can't think of any other reason to have one. Have fun!

I used a cheap clip light with a green led bulb in my tent and it was great. I was able to check on things when the lights were off and never had to search to find the light. Actually left it on a few times overnight and it didn't seem to cause any issues.
