green light?

i was recently given a green light bulb and was wondering if its any use in growing or flowering plants....any information will be helpful and appreciated

No it wont help. They say a blacklight helps in flowering, the blues are good for it. I tried it and didnt notice a difference.

The plants are green because thats the color they reflect back to our eyes. They reflect it because its not usefull to them imo. They say you can use a green light to look at you plants at night but it seems like it would have to be the perfect spectrum not to affect them. I just dont trust that a company paid that close of attention, they prolly just said it looks green so thats the must be only light being emited.
