Not sure what this means? Would like some advice. I also have noticed that a huge root grew out the bottom of my gallon pot. Which is a chamber were waters comes out so its always wet and not much air gets down there so i dont know if i should take off the chamber to let the root die or just let it do its thing15528542652361973474259.jpg 1552854519955288791725.jpg

you'll also notice your growth will be a little bit faster with your root sticking out in water like that, as it's (kinda) hydroponic. the root sticking out like that is indicating you need to transplant to a bigger pot asap. i use 3-5 gal pots after my one gals.
what're your temps at night/in the day?
what's your ph when you feed the plants?

The bottom chamber is too moist why the root grew, best cut it and keep it drier if you can.

The purple is from anthocyanin a transient pigment that osmoregulates certain stresses - its common in most higher plants, if its not accompanied by other problems your probably fine dont worry it happens :-)

Tempeture is always 70-80 degrees. Ph water is varies from 6-7 due to lack of equipment. But hell yea appreciate it.
i wouldn't think much of it. just about everyone of my leaves on my one plant have a pigment of red/purple to them. it's genetic for me, depending on the strain it could be for you too.
