Hi,
Im new to outdoor growing but this year decided to give it a grow as i managed to acquire a nice cheap greenhouse. Im currently having a problem in that my lower leaves are starting to yellow and die and its slowly working its way up the plant. It started on the large fanleaves after topping and has moved up slowly since these have died.
The plant has been vegging for a long time now (since end of march) and just wondered if this is caused by it wanting to flower? If not could this be PH probs caused by rainwater? I assumed that since MJ grows naturally outdoors that ph of rain wouldnt be an issue
Strain is big bang im watering with rainwater and biobizz nutes used miracle gro organic for potting mix currently in huge pot maybe like 10 gal.
Heres what i thought could be possible issues:
1) PH imbalance
2) Temp issues (sometimes gets up to 31c in greenhouse)
3) crap nutes - these were used from previous grow and so far i havnt seen good results from biobizz
4) fast growth - lots of budding sites since topping and tying down - could this be the plant using energy from lower plant to feed growth further up?
also ive just noticed this morning that small brown spots are starting to appear on some leaves..
Maybe this is a natural process but she hasnt even begun flowering yet and tbh i wasnt expecting her to start yellowing just yet.
Thanks
JR
