This was my first year growing tomatoes too iv harvested some already and lots more growing out, tomato plants will show flowers when the plant is mature i see flowers starting on yours after the first sight of flowers they start bursting out flowers as it grows, i bought a tomato cage cause they started to get weighted down. i been picking them one by one when its red i pluck and then by next week there will be another turning red.
Iv seen plenty of greenhouses in California big agriculture growers that provide food for UnitedStates use greenhouses, Many states use them so do other countries. Lots of times greenhouse growers control there climate inside like indoor growers do. Also Nurseries use greenhouses all the time so that they can grow all year and so that they can grow other types of flowers, trees, and veggies that normally don't grow in certain climates such as more tropical plants.Nor-cal or So-cal? What's your average june, july, august temps? Greenhouses are often too hot for Cali.
