Greenhouse vs Raised Bed vs Large Hole

Hey d-
That's the exact dosage I use, 1 tbs per 5 gallon bucket. Be careful with the plants in pots, I had no issues outdoors last year, I was feeding 1 tbs per gallon at the end, but this winter I burned up a couple plants using Maxsea bloom indoors. So be careful in potted plants, less is better.
Can't locate my damn card reader, think my wife has it in her camera, I'll get those photos to you this evening.
Damn it's hot here...

Don't be afraid to bump up the Maxsea as needed. I use 1 tbls per gl. That's 5 tbls per bucket w/5 tsp of epsom salts. Mine are getting it twice a week now.

I've used Maxsea a lot & have not burnt a plant yet. But I plan on using it from the start so I don't overload my soil with nutes.

Good luck bro, Maxsea's good stuff!

^Im doing the exact same, 5gal 1tbsp per gal of both maxsea and epsom each plant gets 5 gals. did it only one time since they have been in their beds, so i probably wont see results until the next feeding but im sure they dont need too much more help im feeling the trimming pains already! lol!

Hey jj-
Are you watering between feedings, or do you feed them every time you water?
I've been feeding every time I water, that's why the low dosage.
Like I said I had no issues last year in the ground feeding 1TBS per gallon, and will feed them again that much this year, but that's in a couple weeks. In the 7 gallon pots on my first run of indoor last winter I burned up a couple plants. It may be the strain (jack Herer) because it only happened to them. I even changed bloom nutes that indoor run.
If I were dirty d I would listen to you, you've had GREAT results, but thought I needed to put out a disclaimer because I know dirty d has a few in pots, and I didn't have the best results with Maxsea indoors growing in pots. Never had an issue outdoors though, but I grow in the ground outdoors.
Good luck d-

Yeah, I'm water them daily.

I planned on using Maxsea from day 1. Maxsea is a lot cheaper & easier than adding all those nutes into the soil in the begining, I have more control.

I think he should start light & bump it up as needed. That's what I said, bump up to 1tbls per gallon.

I never use it any stronger than 1 tbls per gl. I'd give it more often if needed.

treeman, he would be very smart to listen to everything you have say
You give good advice my friend.

Okay from what I can tell this Maxsea is Organic. So in theory in the ground the plant should only use what it needs? I do have a supersoil and I'm pretty sure I dont need it just want to actually take the ground plants to the limits this year. The Cross is almost five feet at this time. So I really cant let her get any bigger she will be over the seven ft fence here soon. Going to Bend her Backwards once she gets 5ft 5
then tie her to another fence. I want to thank all for the advice on the Maxsea now was the price okay? Keepem green dirrtyd

Hello d-
Maxsea is NOT 100% organic. It is a "organic based" fertilizer, but not organic. Like Fox Farms "Grow Big", so many people think it's organic, but it's not, it's organic based as well.
I thought it was organic until I burned my plants. Then I did a little research and discovered that it's not 100% organic. Here's their web site http://www.maxsea.biz/faq.html On this page, FAQ's, it asks here is it "organic" or "organic based"?
That's why half my grow is tea's and BMO products (100% organic), and half Maxsea.
I agree Maxsea is good stuff, no doubt about that. All the "top growers" here seem to use it with success....so do I.
I just want to do a fully 100% organic grow vs. a Maxsea grow. I've had great success with Blue Mountain Organics, I just love the taste from a BMO grown bud. :-)

Stay safe,

Thanks TMB so I will only use it in the pots I want my ground plants to be totally organic. I think they are going to go crazy already once the roots hit the soil in the bottom of these holes. The plant in the greenhouse is lovely spreading just the way I was hoping. Keepem green dirrtyd

Yea , I was gonna say....not 100% OG for sure. The only FF liquid product that is 100% OG is the Big Bloom, that's it. I know lots of people using using Maxsea too, and know it's good, but not organic completely. All comes down to NOT overfeeding, and letting the plants use it up at the end.

I will run it in the pots this year and plan for it in the pots next year want to see the difference. I wil stick with the organics in the ground for sure and the greenhouse. Here are some pics of the DQ in the greenhouse the ladybugs look to be staying you all tell me from the shots. Also what else do you see one you can see clear in another pic they are both there. Those are looking great dirty. Lady bugs look happy!

A few weeks ago I noticed a bunch of baby Praying Mantis all over my plants in the greenhouse. Dozens of them all over. I didn't put them there. I went online & found out they are attracted to lights!

I'll try to take picture

It kinda put you in a pickle because now I dont spray the plants with the praying mantis on them. Not sure if it will harm them so once I stop seeing them I will start spraying. I might try and introduce a new cocoon in July and August hopefully that will take me to harvest since they are only five bucks a cocoon. I've been getting like fifty out of a cocoon.
