And the only reason i start early is so I can have some definite females in the ground by April. Dont know too much about cloning yet, and would never risk ordering seeds in SE US. Or perhaps, I could just start em in May, June in some 3 gallon buckets and let them grow in them until they show sex, and then put them in the ground. I usually start in 1 gallon(early March), and then put them in ground when they show hairs(Mid April or so). Just hate to buy all those 3 gallon buckets. lol. But looking at fdd's pics in his "bullshit" thread, 1 gallon's could probably make it from april-july without getting "rootbound". Ha
