Ha. My cat eats leaves too, the little beast. Just put up pics of her doing just that. Subbed again, along for the ride.

this is going to be a long time period one as I am doing this one right and giving the mother 2 months before I start taking clones...but hopefully worth the wait to be self sufficient.

Lets compare our White widow in the end yeh JESUS! Your using DWC im going to be using SOil. Threw away my DWC couple of months ago. Your one looks pretty cool

I am thinking of having a few more in soil just for the same reason, to compare the two and see what I like better. Thanks for the comment
This is my mother plant (to be) and ya, its a DWC but the clones I get off her will be in the hybrid Aero/DWC system.

lookin goooooooooooooooooooood.

you said you're gonna start nutes later, so how long do you wait until you start nutes? until the second node or something?

be careful with having light shine directly on the root cube, it can spawn mold if they're always moist. i put mine an inch or two into the pebbles to give a little barrier.

are you worried that the roots will clog up the pump? and are they going to stay in this setup until they're ready to be cut or are you going to replant them? i'm new on the forum heh.

they look really good for being so young dude. KEEP THAT SHIT UP! :bigjoint:

are you worried that the roots will clog up the pump? This one is in a DWC so there is no pump just an air stone. When the clones go into the Aero system then the pumps will come into play but with one plant per bucket I dont have a problem with roots clogging the pump.and are they going to stay in this setup until they're ready to be cut or are you going to replant them? This is my mother that I am using for clones and once I get the clones then she is going straight into 12/12 inthe same bucket just to see how much yield I can get from a DWC compared to my system of buckets. i'm new on the forum heh.

:bongsmilie: thx for the comments and welcome to the forum

I made new guts for the mother DWC, had some problems with the lengths and alot of water on the ground, but its all working and no new leaks..yet

So the new set-up has the rootball surrounded on the sides and the bottom? Nice, that should really give you good coverage.

the middle one is for the lower part of the roots and the tops get right under the net pot so it dosent actually get to the roots but kinda falls off and hits the roots that way. I wanted to get more O2 into the root system and I think this is it, but time will tell. Its almost a month of veg and I expected to be further along that what I am now, but patience is a lesson I am still learning :-) and it looks really good, plant and roots together so I am happy.

the roots are my favorite right now and I cant stop lifting the top to see them everyday and see what has changed, like a little kid at Christmas. I started using General hydro's Micro to start out the feeding program and continuing with the H2O2 to give that little bit of O2 punch. I was planning on taking clones in 3 weeks but I dont think it will make it in time so I pushed my schedule back a month, but I think it will be worth it to give it more time in the long run.

I have also made my cloner out of pretty much the same setup but the top will have 9-2" holes drilled into it and only one sprayer coming up from the pump instead of the 3 you see now. 9 started and then keep the 6 best and get rid of the other 3 to "close" friends. I am hoping by keeping the strongest 6 and continuing to keep the strongest of the "litter" I will be able to get the best of the best by the end of 2011 and start moving from growing to harvesting clones for my MMJ group.

Cant wait to see this.+rep back at ya

cut the left and right channels back to 2 1/2 inches, they were hitting the top and spilling over the top of the bucket.

This Fricking heat in Michigan is killing me, 65+ for almost a week now and its supposed to be in the 40's. Hurry up Old Man Winter.

GO BLUE!!!
going to BW3 in Petoskey if anyone is around in the area, look for the hot blonde, Ill be with her and friends.

in a little less than 3 weeks.

Changed water and started to add all 3 GH micro, gro and bloom and a tad bit of CoCo wet to help the roots.

Thats not nute burn, when I changed the plumbing the last few times I didnt take them out far enough away from the lights and the leaves touched the CFL's when I lifted the top...oops
