Get a big desiccant pack so it doesn’t clump upCan I jump in on this? I used megacrop about 4 or 5 years ago on some autos. The og forumula I believe. Love to try the new stuff! Thanks!!
Heard good things about it!!yeah im going to order some more soon as well from the au site
im all about keeping various types of nutes around and stocking up
I've had it come in chunky a couple of times over the last few years I've been using it. I just take a hammer to it and smash it back to bits. Seems to work fine still.is it usable still, is the real question? @GreenleafNutrients
thats what i was looking for thank you!!! i just didnt know being chunked up like that if it messed with the nute ratio or notI've had it come in chunky a couple of times over the last few years I've been using it. I just take a hammer to it and smash it back to bits. Seems to work fine still.
I don't know for sure, but I kinda suspect that certain ingredients may be more likely to clump up than others, so leaving it clumpy may actually throw the ratio off. I like to pulverize mine and mix it up fairly often to prevent the various parts from settling in separate layers.i just didnt know being chunked up like that if it messed with the nute ratio or not
What happens with powder products, is the seal strip can get powder particles lodged inside the zipper channel and preventing a full seal. So in cases especially of high heat or humidity, moisture will get through. Theoretically a properly zipped bag will 100% keep moisture outThe seal strip on most of the bags i have bought have sucked after open- close a few times I dump mine in a ziplock soon as i get it.
Theoretically a properly zipped bag will 100% keep moisture out. In some of the older formulas it was more prone to doing this, because there is actually moisture inside the Magnesium Sulfate itself. We have created some ways to avoid this now.Ziplocked mine and still turned into a solid brick. No problem with my sealed calnit
Technically its not supposed to be like this. In our last manufacturing run, there was an issue with humidity during production, which caused about 10% of the bags to get certain amount of "clumps" in them. This happened because they were left open before they could be sealed quickly. All the proper nutrients and amounts will be in the bag, they will just be clumped and need to be dissolved for ~12 in water before using.is it suppose to be chunky?? opened my bag to start my next run and some of its rock hard and chunky, little dippn dot looking balls in there as well?
yes, it still has 100% of the nutrient guarnateed content, it just needs to be dissolved first which can take 12 hrs.is it usable still, is the real question? @GreenleafNutrients
yeah, it sucks. We are working on ways to avoid this. On one last production run there was an issue where about 10% of the bags got excess moisture before they could be sealed. Its pretty unfortunate!I've had it come in chunky a couple of times over the last few years I've been using it. I just take a hammer to it and smash it back to bits. Seems to work fine still.

It is unfortunately, for full price customers we can give you a free exchange/refund if this happens. For the free promo giveaways we aren't giving free replacements atm, because they were free anyways, and it costs like $8-9 to ship out the package alone.

its not supposed to be like this. About 7% of the bags products on our last run got clumped up because of too much humidity and not sealing quick enough. If you are a paid customer you can email us and we can replace it for you. Sorry that happened to you! It should work the same pretty much once dissolved, its just hard to work with.Just an honest review here. I do appreciate the give away.
My bag had big 1/2 to 1” chunks. Not a big deal. I ran through a screen and used pliers to brake up the chunks.
Small grower, small batches here, 5 gal. at a time. This would make inconsistent batches. This is a bit of a turn off for me. May have been the potash, grey balls stuck together. Some sort of mill, maybe a roller mill would reduce the size of some of these ingredients before mixing them?
I do get a bit of white dust in the bottom of my mixing bucket that won’t desolve. This is after doing the mix crush mix, come back the next day and still a bit of undesolved fines.
However the fert seems to be working fine. Using on some greenhouse plants and indoor veg.
I also received a huge bag of kelp. THANKYOU. This desolves instantly in contact with water. I’ve been mostly folier feeding with it as well as some root. I’ll be sharing some of the kelp with some growbuds to try out.
Thanks again.
