Greetings from South Africa

Hello everyone, its been a while since i have posted anything up here, i was in the process of moving and now that i have my grow to a reasonable size i would like to share with everyone / anyone who is interested to see. Well i just hope you enjoy the pics and i hope for some to stick around till the end. I have been growing personally now for about 8 years so i kinda know what i am doing BUT any constructive critacism would be apreciated.

Country: South Africa
Province: Cape Town
Season: Summer
Average Temp: 30 degrees
Humidity: 50 -60% ( I live 5 min from the ocean, will post up a pic or 2 )
Direct Sunlight: 10 Hours ( from 7am till 5pm ) nothing but sun baby
Vegging outdoors and flowering outdoors however i will be putting them into a 2m x 2m x 2.5m storing room ( for the 12 hours of complete darkness ) i have in the back which has been modfied for a sterile enviroment and complete darkness period to induce flowering. A green house is not viable because of the neighbours. Anything out of the ordinary and the nosey little fucks ( sorry ) get all .............. well nosey.

Pots 15 Litres
Medium:

60% Coco
20% Worm Casting
10% Bat Ghauno
10% Turbo Grow ( 72 minerals and trance elements )
I also pre soak the Coco i 5ml of Cal Mag to every 10 Litres of water i use to expand the Coco brick

Nutrients:

Grow, Micro, Bloom GHE
Fulvic Acid and MPK for foilar feeding once per week

Strains:

Kushberry - DNA Genetics
Shining Silver Haze - Royal Queen Seeds
The Church - Greenhouse Seed Co
Cheeses - Buddah Seeds

The last pic is just to show you the type of sun and sky we get in SA, its terrible i know ha ha ok so here are the pics guys. Look i really could not be assed to put them all in order but lol the church has 3 weeks more veg time than the KB and the Cheeses but the SSH is a clone and she has been topped ( more like hacked to shit ) to induce side branch growth. So the Kushberry is 3 weeks old exactly tomorrow and so is the cheeses

Hey buddy, the red tarp is just to protect them from wind, the red colour is actually a light changing tarp to give the plant more red spectrum during flowering however I just used some old pieces to block wind got it from a company south africa called vegtech

cool...I was wondering if the colour helped increase the red spectrum...never thought about the wind.

Hey African Haze, how you doing mate, so where in the mother city you from, Im Camps Bay Side. I am always trying to meet new growers and share informtion. I used to do indoor but i prefer the taste of outdoor and organic. For me its purely about medicating myself.

Anyway so here is an update of the girls and also here is a little friend i found in my bathroom just above the toilet at 2 am ( i felt something staring at me and i just knew it was my friend Steve, so everyone say hi to Steve )

Hope you guys enjoy the pics, also gonna be buying a greenhouse and puta raised bed in there and that shoud bump up a nice harvest soon.

Those plants are gorgeous man, beautiful leaf size. Healthy as hell.

And MR Obz boy I think you must make a turn around the old buscuit mill and come have a chat with me. Also get some pics up of your girls. What are you growing

OMG, I would use a shotgun on Steve...harmless or not he would be eliminated just for being so big and ugly not to mention the hissing at the wife....what the hell kind of spider is that? it looks big enough to snack on a small bird.

Sorry its been so long with the updates, but my mate had my camera but now i got it back so i hope you enjoy.

The plants are exactly 4 weeks from harvest, i did a flush yesterday and now i am feeding them Blackstrap Molasses with their feeding schedule to just fatten them up and give them a niiiiice taste after curing. Hope the pics are ok

Cheers Gare, i wish i was back in SA right now, i love the weather down there. I used to live outside joburg for years. I think i went to Boskop school. I wonder if its still around. Been back a couple times to go see Kruger park and golden gate. Your shit looks alot better than the shwag i was pickin up from this guy...
i gave him ten dollars american and he tried to give me a grocery bag full. I just laughed and gave it back and only took enough to get me through for a few days. He was a really cool rasta man, he was growing all sorts of veggies and fruit trees, and behind his little hut was a field of ganja. Definatly the most self suficiant black african i met down there. Must be the weed watch out for those snakes man, deadly little bastards.

Steve is my body gaurd, any unwanted people come around i let steve loose. What would you rather have watching over your bud? A dog or Steve ha ha. I still had to be the one who got rid of him, why the fuck do chicks always think that a man is not affraid of shit. I just opened the window and closed the door. Fuck you very much lol.

But all fun aside im a bit concerned about the 1 Kushberry she has 5 weeks left and she looks nothing like the other kush, im talking about bud development here, the others look nice and fat she looks very sativa dominant and fluffy buds and not much filled out. so will it still fill out like the rest is she maybe just a different pheno. Cheers
