i reall hope i get that but as they look now i cant see me gettin anywhere near that, im givin them about 8 weeks flowering, thats about right isnt it ?

see the thing is about yield is if you have a set grow space then you have a limited yield, theres only so much you can grow in that space,

your plants look pretty close together so i would expect somewhere in the region of around 1.5-2 ounces per plant, i'm giving mine extra light and extra space so i can get a bigger yield per plant but have less plants

EQUIPMENT

1 x t5 fixture with 4x55w tubes
2x budbox xl
1x 600w hps
1x 600 mh
2 x 6 inch ruk fans
2x 6 inch carbon filters
ph meter
ppm meter
11 x 3 gallon pots
4 inch rockwool cubes
micro rockwool
eath juice nutes
directional oscillating fan

STYLE

Simple and straight forward combining two methods to get the ultimate yield per plant.

Each female will be flowered in 3 gallons of rockwool with maximum aeration from the micro cubes.

Method

plants are started off in 1.5 inch rw starter cubes, once sufficient root growth has been achieved the plants will be transplanted into bigger 4 inch cubes. They will veg like this until sufficient root growth determines them to be put into the final tub. This is where they will remain until they are chopped.

Lighting

From birth the plants will be raised under flouro lighting until they are transplanted, 1 day after the transplant the light gets changed up to a 600 mh at a distance of 18" from the plant tops.

They will remain under this lights up until flowering and including the first two weeks of 12/12.

This is to reduce any initial stretching that may occur during the first weeks of flowering.

Once they have gotten to this stage grow nutes will then be exchanged for bloom nutes.

After the 4/5th week of flowering a pk booster will be introduced to fatten up the buds.

This grow is already 2 weeks into veg, they are just about to be up-planted into their 3 gallon pots.

Any questions are welcomed and i look forward to any one who wishes to, following the growth of this tasty stash of headies
good tips !!

when did u begin flowering nutes ? when u switch 12/ 12 ?

and i have 120X120cm grow tent ( it is homebox ) and 600w dual spectrum HPS .
do you think how many plants should i grow in that tent ? should i use 11L or 6,5 litre pots ?

i'll begin flowering nutes the 3rd week of bloom

i personally would use bigger pots than smaller.

as for how many plants you want to grow, thats entirely up to you,

if you go with 1 per square foot which would be 16 in a 4x4 area then you'll end up with around 2 ounces a plant

if you go with fewer plants but bigger then you will get the roughly the same yield but off less plants

the number of plants you grow doesn't mean a scrap, its all about area and lighting

whatever light you have it will only cover a certain area, a plants nature is to dominate the sunlight and not be dominated so a plant will take up pretty much whatever space you let it have if you only let it have a sq foot then it will grow upwards more than outwards and vice versa, which is why the yield is more reflective on light and area than number of plants

you could put 30 in there but your not going to get any extra yield

its better to go with less though imo because its less risk in case of getting busted and its far easier to care for 5 plants than 50

get your skills down first and learn to understand the plant and then you can start playing around and doing experiments

37 days veg

plants are getting 1 feed 1.6ec grow feed (earth juice organic)

they are alternating with a flush

the trays underneath the plants are 2ft x 2ft to give you some idea of area these plants are taking up. I wanted to give them longer for veg but they are growing just too damn fast, i don't think i can hold out till 60 days

i ended the count at 41 days, maybe could have gone another 19 like i had wanted to, but they are growing too quickly.

So here we are at day 42. day 1 of flowering

I'm still feeding the girls grow nutes so as they get enough nitrogen during the initial growth spurt. I have also now turned on the hps to run side by side with the mh.

very nice looking plants. Its always a good sign when they are full and bushy. you are going to have excellent smoke.

hey thanks for stopping by and leaving a positive post, i'm really pleased with them so far, would have preferred a higher female ratio but those things are out of my hands.
