Anyone have any experience transplanting from the ground back to a pot? Theyve been in the ground for about 10 days.

I recently accuired my med card, but before i went to see the doc i planted a few too many and i will be over my limit. I can either destroy them or repot and give to a friend, or just go for it.

Im too paranoid, but damm they are doing soooo good.

oh I see, yeah 10 days isnt too long but you would be surprised how much those roots have grown, just dig pretty far out and dig nice and deep, you will probably cut some of the roots but it should recover if you dont damage the main taproot.

Thats cool you are gifting them to a friend.

should i wet the soil a bit? the holes were pre dug with ffof about 2-3 ft deep and 2 feet wide.. im thinking if i wet the soil just a little and then gently dig around the perimeter with my hands until i get the whole root mass kinda packed together, then lift out and into the pot?

Yeah sounds good, it will probably stay together better where the roots havent grown yet. Maybe get a friend and another shovel and lift it out from both ends with the shovels after you get it cut out.

Yeah I have done it before, but I would reccomend picking up either superthrive, or a transplanting solution from walmart. This will really help the plants not endure any stress through the procedure, and help you see faster growth after.

best of luck <3

Whats going on? all of my plants that are in pots are blowin up!!
the ones in the ground are small and weak and yellowing.
I dug the holes about 2 ft deep with FFOF, the soil on the ones in the ground seem to really get dry and hard after a day... i dont know if they are overwatered, beacuse maybe the hard dirt isnt draining, or if they are draining quick and so could be underwatered. Ive been watering every 4th day, about a gallon or less.

any help?
