Here are a few pics of the latest grow. Is it normal to have some of the lower leaves during during flower. Is it the fact the upper canopy is blocking the light or is there an issue? I have added 1 tsp of Epsom salt per gallon and 3 tsp of fox farm big bloom to the feeding/reservoir fill which is every 3 days about.

Looks like you have major bug issues. Either spider mites or thrips. It wont be nice run… Good luck dude!

Lights are off and I haven't seen bugs in there previously BUT if these are bugs, what is the best way to eradicate them?

Do you have a solution on how to rid then before they destroy more? I have not seen casings under leaves if that helps.
You don't have to worry about predator mites. If you see them it's because they're still finding meat to eat. They don't harm plants of any kind. Once their lunch is finished they die.

I made a solution of neem oil and a small drop of dawn soap since some have suggested these are thrips. Hoping this take care of them. I have good air flow so this should allow the flower to dry and no build mold. Hoping. Thanks everyone

Take a good luck under the affected leaves with a scope and see if you can find anything. If you treat with neem, you need to spray everything, tops/bottoms of leaves, soil, pot, tent walls etc, and you'll need to re-apply every 2-3 days for a couple of weeks. Same if you try citric acid. Just be sure you have a pest problem first.

I checked this morning and found some small bugs. I searched around and found people spraying hot pepper solution to commercial solutions. I sprayed the tops and bottoms as best I could. No sure if pruning is a good idea which would allow more spacing at the bottom but I did spray the base well as well as the bucket it is in. Added a small amount to the water since the neem oil is beneficial as well. Wasnt very much but hoping it hits the surface e of the water and keeps things there dead while providing nutrients to the root system.

How do they look like after that 4tsp per Gal of food? I might want to diagnose it right at first and than start real suitable treatment, not grandma-tale solutions…

So far they are doing ok, besides the bugs seen. Not really sure what else you mean with the 4 tsp. This is all added to a 5 gallon bucket, pHed and conductive test and is used over the week to keep it topped. They seem to be pretty strong, smelling nice and growing ok for the lighting and space. I do have another light I am trying to get a bulb for that will be a HPS. This will most likely allow me to get a little better yield than what I get now. We will see.

Looks like you got thrips. Not a big deal. Monterey Garden Spray w/spinosad should fix it. Adding in some neem seed meal as a soil amendment will help keep away any type of leaf munchers in the future plus it has a decent NPK value. Neem oil will also work but it takes a bit longer than spinosad only because the little buggers must ingest it for it to work.

this

the thing about predatory mites is they migrate to their food source..no food no mites and they will eat each other

i call persimilis the highlander mite..you wont find them as long as their are no prey nearby

and if you go to Bio best website you will find a chart of known products and active chemicals that will tell you possible interaction with your beneficial biologicals, that will be safe for persimilis and not their prey..

BIO BEST is literally the best supplier of beneficial biologicals so you can be a no chemical farm/grow ...

which i am trying to do.... harder to stay no chemical but entirely possible with due diligence....

their are a number of very specific target products that will not kill predatory mites.. win win and they are often OMRI

Here are a few pics of the grow currently. Some of the lower leaves died from the thrip/mite and I am still searching for them daily. I will be removing the dead and vacuuming anything that is on the ground. Anyone have a suggestion to keep these going and get a decent result from them? This is really discouraging to see this and watch how fast everything took a turn for the worse.

Any comments or suggestions on the latest pics are helpful. Thank you
You will most likely end up with some nice schwag. You have spider mites pretty bad with already visible webbing, pistils are fucked up from your spraying shit on them and plant is under a huge stress. I would not wonder to see her spliffing out nanners as hell. I know it might hurt, but in my eyes it is not worth. Your light can be issue also. Better luck on your next run!
