Here are some pics of my grow 2. Grow 1 was a hack job in an open attic with no reflection, a simple 70 hps, and 2 4ft flouros. im harvesting her at the end of this month. shes sleeping right now, so no pics.
Grow 2:
i made a 2 story rubbermaid stealth grow with the top of one and bottom of the other cut out and glued and taped on the inside. i spray painted the entire inside a nice white then covered about 98% of the inside with aluminium tape for max reflectivity.
there are 2 80mm intake fans on the bottom and one 120 exhaust at the top, opposite sides. they are powered by a modified PC PSU (im an IT guy). i have there light sockets holding 23watt (100 eqiv) cfl 6500k bulbs. the plants are in hacked up 5 gallon buckets. they are clones from grow 1 that i developed in the Root2Gel kit.
the soil is a mix of MG perlite and MG organic choice potting soil. im using the LST method to max out my yield. the two smaller plants didnt root but started greening, so i assume its just waiting to bust out.
i just trimmed it up as it got a little nasty from root-bound in the smaller pot.
not sure but the stems seem to like being purple more than green.
