grow area not tall enough?

Hi guys and gals, planning on creating a new grow area in a shed. the space is 155cm wide 90 cm deep and 110 cm tall (although there is a little extra height at the top due to the shape of the roof. here's a pic

just wondering if it will be tall enough, i was planning on putting in two 400w HPS as the space seems a little wide for just one . i guess if do SOG and flower them at about 20/30m tall they will be ok right? will i need cool tubes/air cooled hoods?

Thx in advance

get 1 600w and cooltube it or only use 1 400w hps and cooltube it, 1 should be enough for a 4x4 area(16 square feet.) and 2 is gonna be kinda difficult to kepp temps low enough imo.

Yeah a 600w would be ideal, i however already have two 400w 's . even if i cooltubed both lights and had a nice big fan (separately) drawing air out the room with passive intake you reckon it would still be too hot?
Oh, i should also mention that the shed is outside and outside average daytime highs are 49F (10C) in January. so during winter(I only grow inside during winter) it will cold in there when the lights are off and cooler (than normal) i guess when the lights are on.
I think i'll try and get it up and running with one bulb then try to add another when i add more plants. But 3200 lumen s per sq foot really seems far too low, don't you think?

2 400 watt lights with cool tubes are fine. I am running 2 600 watt HPS in cool tubes on 1 340 Cu ft inline fan for cooling. My exaust fan never comes on unless it needs to drop humidity. Its a verry small space.

Thanks for the input .

Milowerx - your area seems a lot more open than mine with plenty of room for air to cool down.

anyone else grown in a space similar to mine?
