Grow Bags/Trash Bags Vs Hole in the Ground???

I posted this once before and didnt get much of a responce. Why do people use grow bags or trash bags instead of just digging a hole and filling it with good soil??? I need to know before I transplant in a few weeks...

Many reasons to put a plant in a pot or bag rather then directly in the ground.

so the plant can be easily moved. ie. inside durring rainy or cold nights, when something fishy is going on.
so the water and nutes can be evenly distributed.

it mainly depends on your grow.
some have to have them in pots so they can be easily moved because of their climate.

Gotcha...makes since. I dont think I'll have any reason to move them... Knock on wood!
