TO tell you the truth it is much better to make your own. what also depends on what size and how much you plan to grow way to grow areoponic-hydroponic-soil so to help you on your way what are you looking for in specific????

True, If you want a run of the mill setup that will get you a few good healthy girls you probably could gather supplies at a thrift store or flea market. there are tons of shit like that there.

premade grow cabinets cost to damn much.check out walmart or home depot for a small cabinet or a small wardrobe.Start there and work out the rest of your details if you havent figured it out yet.

Soil?hydro?ventilation?lights?
theres more than enough info here on RIU to get you headed in the right direction.:eyesmoke:

Go to Ebay they have some cheap pre-constructed grow cabinets. Or build your own. I took 64ft. of 2x2 wood I found at lowes and built this tent

I know the pics arent that good but you can kinda see the general idea.

here's a coupla pics i snapped with my iphone at lowes yesterday to give you a good look at a cheap cab that you can easily fit 4-6 plants in...the smaller cab in the pic shows a 6 gallon rubbermaid tote that i put in there to show how perfectly that fits...

if you're doing soil...go with 1-2 gallon pots...i'd be able to fit six 1 gallon pots in there or four 2 gallon pots...i wouldnt try HID's in the cab because of heat issues...cfl's or fluoro's will do great...hope this helped...

only imo...the clone box on the link you posted, i've seen before too while i was pricing out my grow tents...too much $$ for the clone box...if you need a seperate space to clone/veg...you're better off just pay lil' bit of $$ for a DIY or a cheap cab like the one i posted in the pics...

jonboys got it rite that tall cabinet looks perfect for a first timer. about 4 good flowers could fit there enough for some personal smoke. ide say if you can use a screwdriver you can make n e thing they sell as a grow cabinet for a 1/3 or less of wat you would sell prefabricated.if you dont feel comfortable using a screwdriver dont bother using the prefab ne way youll end up putting most of it together!!!!! i built a 2ft.x3ftx5ft cabinet for my self 3 sheets of 5/8 plywood sum 2x4s a 310 hps street light (took it apart and am making a cool tube) a 4inch in line fan from homedepot.com 14 bucks plus shipping or u can jus get em at the store. some 4 ft. flourecents and cfl bulbs for veg state. alot of the stuff i got for free by just askn friends and me and a couple friends drank beer and ripped bongs makin it i certanly could have done this by myself but always better with added input and some good old stoner ingenuity if your interested ill post some pics

man build your own, if you have basic mechanic skills, you'll be fine. get a 600w hps for a 5x5 area

or go to walmart, target or kmart find a cabnet. then con vert it to a grow box. try to find 1 with ajustable shelves wood will be better for stealth.becuse plastic can leak light. to make it easer to move around put caster wheels on the bottom.

This is a cab that I found at Home Depot and modified as a flower cab. First photo shows it from the outside with the doors closed.

The second photo shows it in use with my 250w hps.

prolly the most pro diy setup ive seen in awhile

Like everyone says, DIY. You can even use an old computer case if you wanna do a really small grow.

I made a simple wood box. Got 2 pots, at 1 gallon each. 3 - 23 watt CFLs. 2 computer fans. Simple and effective.

Pic of my babies below. :leaf:

The cab itself was about $125, $150 for a 4" Vortex fan, $125 for a digital ballast, $125 for the reflector and $50 for a 270w bulb. Then toss in another $100 for things like ducting, Mylar, and digital timers.

I could have done it cheaper but I figured that it would more than pay for itself since I wasn't going to be paying $300/oz for bagweed.

prolly the most pro diy setup ive seen in awhile
Thanks, much appreciated.
