hey, i just started growing a few weeks ago and i have 3 plants, there about 7cm high, there growing on my window sill at the moment. But im currently setting up a proper place to grow them in a old fridge. and i was wondering if i should put in one of theese pond foggers into a resevoir of water at the top of the fridge so the fog would then fall onto the plants thus watering them. do you think this is a good idea? has anyone tried it before?

thanks

No, I don't think it is a good idea.

If I understand you right, you will end up with a lot of mold.
You only really want the water in the pots. how are you going to grow.
3 Plants should be easy enough to look after, theres a lot to be said for keeping it simple.

...and watch out for refrigerators with 5000W security lights which turn into white whales called 'Kelvinator the Magnifacent' [sic].

Hum. I would say you might be creating a problem when there will be no benefits at all. What you can do is try and use it to keep humidity up during veg but not for watering.. You coud try and run that as an expirement... I mean if it's not to crowed in the fridge. Good luck though! Got a pic?

what might work is to use a pond foggers in a hydro system, instead of using misters in an aeroponics setup you could try using the foggers.
like one of these systems Fogponics Online

i think you might be asking for trouble doing that.light heat gets magnified through water, thus you would have to keep your light source high and cause streach or have a chance of burning them!!!
