Planted 8 seeds, 3 days ago from this killer bag i got about a week ago. I have a 300 watt heat lamp in a 3'x18"x18" grow box with the inside lined w/ tin foil. I just got foil up today and watered them again, they should be good till they sprout. Let you know when the sprout.

Good luck bro ,, i heard somewere that foil bad for the plants.. not shure tho you should look into it so you dont kill the little babies.

you should ditch the foil , it creates heats spots it can burn your plant . Go to walmart and in the camping section buy an emergency blanket they work great and very cheap

yea thanks for tip...i just got done ripping out the tin foil and i put the space blanket in, its alot cooler inside there now. Now my babies can breath.

Now, dump the heat lamp and get a few CFL's. Those are the spiral energy saving bulbs. The higher the watts, the better. I have a couple of 42 watts as supplemental lights. The more of these you can get, the better off you'll be.

definitely get rid of the tin foil. It does cause hot spots and will burn the leaves. Instead use Mylar.. Or get some of those emergency heating blankets that are mylar based. They only cost 2 dollars at fred meyers.

Not too sure about your "heat lamp" for a light... You may want to reconsider that. It might not be what you need..

rite now the heat lamp is working fine, i'm going to switch to this purple rope light i have pretty sooon. B/c the first time i tried growing w/out a growbox my plant was growing like an inch a day when i had the rope light on it.

If i was to use CFLs i would reconstruct the top of my box. So, I'm gonna just gonna stick with the rope light for now, until i can find something else. But, I will take everybodys tips in account if this grow fails.
