why dont you pinch those fuckers off, who knows i agree and think its still to soon to give up hope. i just found out a plant that was given to me turned out to be a male, saw a cluster of small round balls on it last night.

That only work's if the plant is a hermie.

It would be nice to stress out a male plant and make it go hermie lol

Hmmm is it even possible?.. damn now you have me thinking.. I've never heard of it before.. but is it possible to stress out a male plant to hermie?

To bad I don't have time to research this at the moment, but now i know what will be itching my head today lol

The main reason i'm so bummed about HK is the simple fact that I purchased those seeds and out of the 3 I used..SS = Died (my bad) BS = Never Germ'd and now HK = Male.. Wanna talk about a shit batch.. wouldn't be too bad if i had bought 10 and had a bunch more to play with.. the fact of the matter is I only have 1 Hindu Kush seed left and about 3 or 4 more Bag Seeds of the same genetics as TH. Now, all hope is in good ol TH.. I mean I'll take a female of any kind at this point and if for nothign more than the experience to finish the grow. If they should both end up male (god forbid) then I plan to grow them both out till I can collect both their pollens. Then I'll most likely look for clones before going with seeds, but who knows.. I still have plants to worry about now, not the future...

Thornhillium Kush... Does the world really need another kush strain lol...Maybe Hindu Hill.. lol.. I kinda like that sound of that... I was looking all day for how to make ISO outta male plants.. just about 90% of what I read said its pointless as the males don't produce enough THC to warrant it...I'm still very curious so the plan is to keep both plants growing with a slight emphasis of love towards TH now and not HK which is a change untill I see Iso Zen style...I also like the idea of clone practise, good call man (Thanks)..

I have one question for you guys though... As we all know (or atleast those reading long enough) I had done an experiment with fertilizers..anyhow now that we're in bloom.. Should I buy Pure Blend Pro Bloom for TH ? or continue on with 20-20-20.. keeping in mind I"m quite poor but at the same time want the best I can afford for my plants...So if the answer is yes, then i'll hit the hydro store tomorrow before watering my plants so I can get some. Also should I continue to fert HK or just water and superthrive ?? Any input would be appreciated.. I have a hunch as to what I'm planning to do, i'd just like to hear some input to compare and contrast !!

Anyway Ive been searching for a CHEAP as hell Ultrasonic Fogger... They're not cheap.. lowest price I found was roughly 50 bucks.. I don't have that to waste at the moment.. not even for the girls.. I had controlled temps and RH% up to now but it could be better...Anyway I was walking through the warehouse at work today an what do I see... Bedside Fogger Fountain.. OMG.. it has to have the parts I need right ?!?!?! So I crack that bitch open and pray to ganja it works.. YESSSSSSSSSS, score.. it works perfectly and has the EXACT parts I would need... So i took that bitch home from work today, for the HUGE price of $3.. Thats right THREE FREAKING DOLLERS !!!!

Iv seen plenty of grows with people using regular 20-20-20 nutes, but i imagine the results are better with real flower nutes that are higher in Phosphorous and moderatly high in potassium with low levels of Nitrogen. I personally am satisfied with my FF tiger bloom (2-8-4) because it is organic based...

I work for a Liquidator..an Ebay store.. I'll spare the specifics for "privacy" reasons.. but we get ALL sorts of shit.. from Linens, To Houseware, to Electronics, to Bras, to Batteries.. You name it, we probably had it at one point. Did I mention all of my pc fans came from Power Supplies I found at work.. I'll spare you the details, but for my grow.. works been a gold mine !

Ok, so I had planned to do so tomorrow on my day off but well I couldn't wait.. I went ahead and made my own Mini AC/Humidifer following the instructions in the earlier posted link (back like 20 pages...I'll find it and put it here later)

Anyway, I didn't bother taking pictures of the entire process as thats pointless its all done well on the other site.. What I did however do was make a video of my finish product.. I can't upload it here so I'm going to see about making a youtube accoutn and trying to come back and post it here embedded.. we'll see. If anyone has experience with this and wants to help in the next 10 - 15 min before I try myself. that'd be greatly appreciated.

sorry about the male brother wolf is right, you still have some time before the pollen comes, so you can leave it and experiment or chop it,I say chop it and make some iso hash, thats what I do with mine..............

"Hindu Hill" I like the sound of that too!!... and you may be on to something there FT... Don't underestamate bagseed... you will be suprised how much bag seed comes from great genetics, but was grown in a shitty way.... From the looks of TH.. she is something nice for sure. It would be hard for me not to cross them!

As far as making hash from males... ask ...

Agreed... You don't have to use fancy nutes to grow good weed... so save your money my friend. You can always come back to it when things pick up... If anything I would add a spoon full of molasses per gal... and some bone meal if you can get it cheap.

9/9 Morning Update

So folks, as we all know by now HK turned out to be a male, bummer...but such is marijuana gardening and life in general.. so as has been suggested to me I'll take my lemons(Male Plant) and make some lemonade(Iso Hash) !! I'm going to continue to grow HK so I can have more material to make my extraction worth anything, however in saying that I will be keeping a very close eye on him to make sure he don't go droppin loads. As of today I will no longer be including HK pics in the journal except for every now and then to show ppl what more developed male flowers look like. So this from now on has officially become the Thornhillium aka TH Grow Journal !! Anyway TH still no signs of any sex really at the same time I've noticed this plants a realllllly slow grower. So to try and "fix/solve" that, I'm going to introduce a few more bulbs into my box 2 of which will be 6500K which I had pulled in favour of more 2700's. I dunno if it made a huge difference, but time will tell I guess. This "desicion" to add new bulbs wasn't entirely my thinking, it was also in part to the fact that as I was cleaning my box this morning before watering I freakin dropped my new 42W bulb

Anyway it was a good excuse to do a even more thorough cleaning. Another reason I decided to add extra bulbs was the completion of my mini AC/Humidifier..Tdot's DIY 3 Gal Rubbermaid AC/Humidifier
So this way if the new bulbs are a heat problem I can always just put this new "toy" in and see how it works, I currently have it running in the middle of my room and I can feel a minor difference. Ok wow thats alot of blabbing for me, i do suppose its cause I'm high.. Good ol wake'n'bake.. anyhow on to the pics..

First up is my last pic of HK.. just wanted to show you how Thirsty HE is, and I don't care becuase hes a boy, lol

He'll be getting watered when I finish typing this up, TH is sitting in the sink draining out the extra life juice(water)

Well thats really about it everyone, I've started to notice TH is picking up in smell a bit more but still not nearly as stinky as HK has been. It's my day off so I'll be around for most of it if anyone has ?'s or comments.
