I am a long time forum lurker, first time poster.
I hope you will find this thread as exciting as I do. I’m going to be documenting a grow using a new plasma led hybrid horticulture light. The light is called the Medusa and is made by Luxtheon. I am a engineer, also a grower, and we developed this product with you guys in mind. I hope you will enjoy and much as I do.
The Medusa has two 50W full spectrum leds and 470W of dimmable plasma technology. For more detailed information, go here.
I was previously vegging under 72 W of cfl, but today, I had the opportunity to move the medusa into the veg tent. Since the plants are still saplings, I’m only using the LED option for now.

In the pictures you will find:
3 plants on right are Diablo OG, and are several weeks ‘old’
3 plants on left are Blue Dream clones, and mother growing in soil.
I think we will flower one of the diablo OG's and one of the blue dreams in this tent under the medusa, and move the rest to a veg tent in mid february, as I get back into a perpetual grow schedule. (I have two tents and was growing perpetually, but mites struck and I took a hiatus, and returned with predatory mites).
I am top feeding the plants, using blue planet nutrients.
