Earlier today I found corn stalks at every other row pulled out and facing sideways with each row, and I have no clue what this is all about!! I found a couple boot prints also, do you guys think this was a failed attempt by the cops?

Doubtful, the cops would simply enlist the aid of an aircraft if they can't find it on the ground once they have general location data. Whoever it was, they'll be back.

Finding boot prints around your plants is definitely a bad sign. Obviously someone has found them. Hard to tell who. Be careful about going out into that field. It is looking more and more like you are gonna go to check on your plants one day and they will be gone...

Sounds like someone is setting him up to be the recepient of a pair of bracelets connected by a short chain! Most likely will be giving him a ride in the backseat of a car that the rear doors dont open from the inside. At least he will be given 3 meals a day (probably some of that farmers corn) a bed and some big old hairy guy will take him under his wing and teach him the ropes! Have fun! If hes smart ( ???) he woud stay away from the field and buy some weed. Also cheaper than the alternative!

Well, it has been two weeks. Did I nail it? Or are the weed pirates in your area smart enough to wait until the plants get closer to finishing?

lots of waysto tell if someone was at your spot. get a cheap wallet cloth no prints on it then. put five bucks in it and drop it next to your plants. take a photo of it with your phone so you dont forget how you placed it. someone will move it and youll know if it been moved they cant put it back the same way.and if its a cop theyll put it back. it the wrong spot thief theyll take the money.

A cloth wallet with no prints? Cops will put it back? I think somebody needs to cut back on the weed. Because cops don't give fuckall about a wallet with $5, they will immediately cut the plants down and call the county news for a photo-op. A weed pirate will take the weed, the wallet, and the money. Christ, some of the comments on this site are straight out of a cartoon.

The cartoon like thing would be for someone to take the $5 bill and make change to 5 one dollar bills and put it back! That would be like a warner bros cartoon! Road Runner cartoon maybe! Beep Beep ----sorry i couldnt help myself!

aww no. a cop that is watching the spot. wont cut the plants. hell let them there waiting for you to come back. if you leave a wallet hell pick it up. to look for id. hell move it out of place. if youplace it in a spot next to two rocks and a stick..... or what ever. and you go back and its 6inchs to the left and the five bucks is still in it. you can asum it was a cop. they wont take the money they dont want you think they where there. so they;ll leave the wallet and the money now if its a theif hes going to take the five bucks and the wallet. a cop is def going to pic it up and look for id. and move it. thats y i said take a pic with your phone of the wallet so you dont forget how you placed it. a state cop will cut the plants hes not going to sit around for days but a town cop with nothing better to do is going to watch. dea will sit around.

i agree with you totally some people make stupid comments mine was not. if there no id cops are going to put it back. and a thief isnt going to take plants veggin. but he will take the wallet and the five buks. and you dont have to keep takin care of the plants anymore cause there fucked if someone takes the wallet and the money. at least your not going out everyday watering if you no there going to come take the plants in 2 months. oh and thanks my weed is good

Well, I hope Mr. Doe didn't end up in the pokey, but I have been following his corn field grow on the off chance that he will actually succeed. Here are the last photos he posted:

Look at photo #2. Meine Gott, that would stand out like a green neon sign, visible for at least a mile in the air. The corn not only does nothing to conceal this weed, it actually brings it into sharp relief: corn fields are almost always uniform and any anomaly would invite investigation. There is no way that this weed went undetected by either LEO or weed pirates!

wtf why would i kill 8 plants just for the hell of it?!?!?!?! Maybe it was just someone being nosey, theres lots of personal aircrafts around here, theres many possibilites and its not near my land, therfore this is the worse advice ive gotten, thanks!
thank god u have sense, and dnt blindly listen to internet advise, many of these ppl are only gonna get u paranoid.

Sense? The plants were in the middle of a corn field, easily spotted. That type of grow is meat for LEO. The grower is missing in action for close to two weeks now. Those plants are gone for sure.

He'd probably be bailed out by now if anything happen with LEO. My guess is his plants were missing and he's too bummed out to log in.

Cops are not going to sit on a patch....you think the police are going to put someone in the bushes for a week..24 hours a day for some plants? nah...the only time they would do that is if you have acres of plants and irrigation systems and tents and a camp....cops see em..they chop em.
