started with bag seed. it looks like three species were in the mix. dude i got them from had been saving seeds from better bud he'd been saving. whqt sucked was the first batch of seed were bad, no sprouts. they were out in his shed all winter so that prob did em in. anyway i lost about a week and a half on that but the next batch of seeds came up 100%. looks like i had only one male.
top feed set up. at the time i didn.t have a ppm pen or ph pen. just was flushing some times and using gen hydro 3 part stuff with a table spoon. i think these pics were 3ish weeks after germ. and just got off water only diet. those are expanded clay pellets in 3 inch mesh pots riding in 4 inch pvc tubes. fed like 15 mins every 1.5 hrs. none died and i thought they always had good col.
bought this 2ft 75w ho flor. plant light at walmart for 10 bucks. used to try to get more light to the sides of the plants for some bush. only had enough flow for one light so every 2 days i had to switch it from side to side and it worked out great. just a little note for anyone using flor. lts. 4ft growbulbs at walmart = 5$, home depot = 12$. same fucking bulb too. anyway the four footers, there was 4 of them using 2 bulbs each. used i think 3 cool whts and the rest plant bulbs. temps up to 80 ish at times....... i have more.......
at this point in the op I realized that room size was an issue. I already knew that some real light was going to be needed too. So what is boy to do? Go big or go home. I fiqure if a one foot pot plant would get me as much jail time as a four footer why not maximize the reward with the pennalty. I know the room isn't a big time set up but it is huge compared to the 2' x 6' x 5' closet space I was using. I was running out of room fast and i was going to need things like a/c, fresh air, scent controle. real lights!!!!
So this picture. This is a 1000w mh. I mail ordered the bulb and bought the ballest and socket at the electric supply house. the hood is from a flor. lt. I modified everything to make it work. Also the 4 inch pipes are the same ones from the closet. I built this green house and started moving into it. I think the plants were under this light for only a day or two when I took this picture.
Any comments?

this is a few pictures of my home made cloner. After looking at in ez cloner in the hydro shop for 400 or 500 dollars I decided I would try to replicate it my self. I used a 11 gal., 3'x16" plastic tub I bought for 5$ at walmart. Modified some pvc fitting and built a drain hole leading down into a five gallon res under the table. Used a 750gph pump I got at lowes for 50$ and pumped out of res with 1/2inch tubing to a 3/4 poly pipe running in the middle of the tub. screwed into the 3/4 poly were about 12 misters running 24/7. res had water and stuff called clonex I got at hydroshop. Side note: be cool in the hydroshops. I was all about business when I started going in and they, the owners of the shop, when they relized I wasn't a flake or something opened up to me about keeping a healthy garden and gave me so much advise. I ow them alot. But don't forget they too are in busness to make money. Made friends there
. Anyway, my cloner produced roots in some plants as early as 5 days and by 10 days they were way over do to come out.............out of 50 clones only 4 did not work out.
