See. always have some houseplants in your grow room, then when the cops show up you've got something under the lights that is perfectly legal.........

I dont care what statistics say i'd bet the bank that neighbors are the number 1 reason people get busted,they allways worry about what other people are doing,plus most people love to call the police to start with.

I took my dog for a walk in the woods last year & the cops showed up & were waiting for me when me & the dog came out,the fukers questioned me about what i was doing,im like look at the dog cant you see im walking him :wall:

The cop told me a neighbor called in a complaint about somebody doing something suspicous.

if they hire a decent lawyer they might be able to get out of it. no other probable cause besides the smell of marijuana? shit, i would tell the cops the smell was from a joint and deny everything else.

Yep a good lawyer is all they need, hell even a run of the mill lawyer should do the trick. No plants, no charge simple as that.

good thing they didn't open the door, the smell could have been coming from anywhere. after all this was an outside smell, and smell drifts. if the cops were to bust in they could have gotton off cause no search warrent was given. so i say good job to these guys.

I honestly hate the media... just by adding in words like "Just a few blocks from an Elementary School" can completely make these people look like heinous criminals. Everything is only a couple of blocks from an Elementary School if you live in a city anyway!

reminds me of somthin that happened to me back in 2001 on one of my first grows.

had a frnd who's father was a cop and while him and his dad were at the bar his dad mentioned my name something to the effect that they were planning a bust and for him not to be their. being a good frnd he came right over and told me so we pulled his care in the garage choped all the plants down stuffed em in trashbags and got out.. next day the cops were there, i was at sumone elses place in the same appartment complex they opend the door found some wooden framing and some pots of dirt.with a jar jar binks stuffed animal thing that had a fake novelty ciggarett hanging out its mouth.. never went back there again never heard anything from the landlord, not that he could contact me if he wanted to... i did leave a nice pile of ferrett poop on the florr for them though

I guess there is nothing that proves they weren't. lol.

But you know police get down and dirty and get
them to say things they don't want to.

And I agree with another poster, the media can
spin things all out of proportion saying "located

close to a school zone".

Of course they're not heinous, they're actually very peaceful
people. All they were doing was growing pot to provide

the needs to the city's peaceful pot smokers.:-P
