I’m doing a 4x4 grow with Bubba Kush. How many plants could fit and what training method is suggested?

It depends on the size of your pot and the medium you are using. Personally I grow in soil in a 4x4 area. I just harvested 5 plants in 3 gallon buckets. My room was crammed and too many popcorn buds so I am scrogging using 4 way lst and 3 plants in 5 gallon grow bags to maximize my space. At the least I would top and lst.

Worry more about how many plants you can manage than how many will fit. Many people who are new to this, and grow for just their selves and some friends, just don't realize how much work trimming is. My first grow was in a 32"x32" tent with 4 plants in 5 gallon pots. I yielded around 6oz of cured bud and it took me about 12 hours to trim and jar it all up. When I got my 4x4 tent I figured I could squeeze 9 plants in there, but went with 6 for my first run in that tent, and quickly realized how much harder it was to reach the pots for watering to do maintenance on the plants and to keep the tent clean. Since then I grow no more than 4 plants at a time and I still wind up with more bud than I need. I pretty much always have at least a pound of cured bud jarred up and stored.
