~ ~ ~ Grow Room Glow Stars ~ ~ ~

So I just turned my lights off for the first time after 4 weeks of a 24/0 light cycle, and I look up to see about 300-500 little glowing stars plastered all over the ceiling. The previous owner must have put these up for her kids. :wall: I'm never in this room with the lights off so I never noticed it.

Question is; Will these little glowing stars affect my babies during the flowering stage?

I don't think it will because they're glowing and not real bright, but I'd rather be safe than sorry, so any thoughts? Should I spend 4 hours peeling every single one off the ceiling or just let em be?

:leaf:by the way, GWS--- oh boy I can't wait! :o=======~~

realistically it shouldnt be an issue, it'd be no more light than an outdoors plant during full moon...

i think they put out a greenish light anyway, with any luck the plant won't even pick this up

Thanks for your reply codwalop. Yes the glow stars emit a green glow. I just don't want to take a chance interupting the dark cycle. Also the room is 12x12'. Any other opinions out there? Thanks for your help!! =========~~

They can't put out enough light, or for long enough to make a single bit of a difference. Ignore them.

I always wondered about moon light. I honestly don't think plants need COMPLETE darkness because of moon light.

If you think about it, they always say "Closer to nature closer to perfection". With that line of thought, shouldn't we all have some kind of moon light simulator in our indoor gardens?

I think the star stickers are simulating a more naturual environment. Hell, now I want to put some up in my indoor garden.

I left the door open in my flowering room during warmer months to help with heat. I had lots of day light coming in through near by windows. I never had a problem.

I think its pretty cool. They have some light pollution, and big moonlight starry nights in the wild. Heck, put up a big moon and it would be just as fun to kick back in there at night as when your room is glowing with the sun. I want some now lol. I am like a big kid and have the solar system in my room. Wish i could hook up a 400w mh to my alarm clock to bring me out of it in the morning lol. If it dont make a diff post that too??

Not sure how long they glow, but I'm gonna find out. Its a guest bedroom, so its got a bed in the room. Tomorrow night I'll smoke, wait for the timer to kick off, lay on the bed and just stare at the stars. Maybe try to find the big dipper if I'm real high. But honestly, I wouldn't think they'd glow more than 10-20 minutes...

Yeah they just slowly get dimmer after the lights go out. I used to hump on a chick that had stars on her ceiling. I would just lay there and stare at them.:hump::eyesmoke:

Ha. thats tight. I can say of all the girls I've been with, I've never humped a girl with stars on her ceiling. But then again, I'd say I was completely drunk when I screwed half of them so I wouldn't remember anyways...
