grow room issues

I would say get 1 gallons to start in. Get them to get a nice rootball. These cans be just normal one gallon plastic pots..

Then grab some five gallons to transplant into later on. It's a lot better then going right into a five gallon and could save you some issues.

should time well to when your ready to start feeding them through the screen.

You do not want to share a pot.. Lots of reasons not to, like if you need to separate the plants because of disease, pests, sex, hermie, etc.

If I use air pots do I still need to transplant? or can I just start with a 5 gallon? It actually looks rather easy to transplant using those pots......just unwrap them.

Start in one gallon normal plastic pots. That allows the soil to dry out faster early on. Faster growth.

Then once your rootball is established pot up to the fives. You should do this befor you start feeding through the screen.

You can start in 5 gallons but this will give you a healthier root system. 5 gallon start ups are tricky and can create dry out problems (always wet) and thin root ball. Transplant. Trust me. I have many runs trying both methods.

Also.. Whatever soiless mix you decide to use make sure you add lots of extra perlite.

I run 50 - 50 perlite soiless.. Or 60/40 s/p

Hitting menards tomorrow before they take all their garden stuff down. They have Shultz peat and perlite. Think they have premium brand as well.

i believe premier is the same company as promix.

you will be fine either way.

just make sure your bag has no holes.

I wish I woulda started 6 months ago cause I'm weening off of Effexor right now and it sux! Dr is givin me generic buspirone which is an ant anxiety type med but it does nothing. So yeah I'm excited to get started and hopefully grow some good mellowing stuff. I haven't drank since 1995 either so needless to say I'm wound up pretty tight. :)

Good deal brother!

Make sure you soak it with some phd water before you plant with it.

you wanna get it to field capacity first or it can create dry spot and jut not up sorb as easily in the pots.

I just read about 300 pages into MJ Horticulture Growers Bible by Jorge Cervantes in the last few hours! Holy shit! Information overload.

Got most of my insulating and ducting done today. I just have to hang some drywall, mud, paint and build a door and come up with a hidden latch mechanism. Should i just stick with flat white paint or use reflective bubble wrap duct insulation? I have loads of it left over from jobs. Im still going to paint for moisture purposes.

I use the reflectix that you are talking about and it works well, I like it because it is easy to wipe down and insulates the noise some as well.
