Grow room to cold

Hi everyone, it's my first grow and i set up a 2x4x5 with a spider farmer sf 2000 and a mars hydro 6 fans with controller.
As i set up my grow room in the loft the temperatures was around 13 °C with lights off and around 17 °C with lights on, humidity 60%, fan is on when the temperature gets on 26 °C (never gets that temperature). So i decide to buy a heather (tube heater 55w) and i get 19 °C with lights on. is it too cold ? My plants are 2 weeks old and they are not growing!
At the moment i have the lights a 60 %, should i put the lights at 100% but more distance to que more heat? or that will kill my plants?

19 is a bit low but not too bad. Heat matts work quite well because heat gets to roots whereas heating the air can be harder in a tent with air being sucked out.

What's light intensity are you at right now?
What's your dli?

I'm over recommended light intensity for seedlings with about 15w of led strips so struggling to see how your light at 60% isn't already too intense.

I'd add another heater first .

I put back to 60% 30 inches distance

Get a light measuring app and work out what light intensity your at.

I like the feet on the ceramic heater.

Make sure youvd got some air circulation or all the heat will be at the top of the tent

I always run 35k-45k lux from germ. This "seedlings intensity" is all a load of shit and just leads to stunted and stretched plants. For example, these are 23 and 20 days old, were birthed at 650umol/s and are now at 800umol/s. I start around 35-40dli for seedlings and move to 50 in veg. It helps with winter temps too..

Here's a bunch of seedlings at between day 4 to 7 at 750umol/s now.

I've never had a single plant object, and everytime I've went to the "required amount for seedlings" I've ended up with far less growth.

I think everyone blows "seedlings requirements" well out of proportion.

I've put every seedling I've ever ran under 200w worth of quantum board from birth at roughly 24" full pelt, or close too with zero issues.

I'm kinda with you here. I think it comes with what they are used to. I've sprouted from seedling to flower under the same 420 watt before. On the other hand, I have taken smaller plants from fluorescent veg to finishing veg under 420 watts and had to back off on the light and ease it in. I like starting with strong lights best feel like it helps keep them tight. The ones I sprout in a greenhouse in the sun do fine too.

EDIT: If they are used to big ***** to begin with then they can take big *****. If not you have to slowly get them used to it, or there is pain.

I don't know why I censored out the word light.

Yep. Same experience here. If I start at 10k lux they object to 40k quick smart.

If I start them at 40k there's no issues.

So can I turn the light 100 and put at distance till I have 40k lux?

I am in a similar scenario and I just invested in a cheap 500w oil filled radiator and run it at around 50%. It heats my 4x4x5 to about 28℃. I did have one of those tube heaters and it didn't really do a lot.
