If I grow my plants in a closet can I just use a blanket for the door I keep hearing everbody say how tight they gotta be but I'm gonna use a kevlar blanket and hope that would be fine.i will be growing autoflower in

If you are growing autoflowers and you are talking about keeping it Dark, than it does not matter. You can run them on 24 hours of light and zero Darkness if you choose.

Before tents I used plastic and or mylar.

I'm gonna do auto flower but I think I'm gonna do 18 6 do I just have to make sure it stays dark during the 6 off completely

You will want air flow into your closet for plant. Don't want to just seal it up without a way to exchange air.

Autoflowers dont require the dark time to iniciate flowering. Where Photperiods do.

Nah, you're good. But as mentioned, make sure you have airflow/exchange.
