Grow setup

Hi all me and my friend will be running our 2nd grow. Space is 7Ft x 5Ft height is 4ft at lowest point and 6ft at highest. Be running 2 600w cool tubed lights with a 4 " fan attached to pull or push heat away. Out take will be a 6 " fan with a 6" rhino filter. And down low on other side will be a 4" fan pulling in clean air. Think we're going with 12 plants. Be using 6L airpots along with canna soil and nutes. What do you guys think? All input appreciated... Also with the out take fan do you think it would work attached to an old over flow pipe about an inch tops thick? Was thinking maybe because pressurised air will still push through? Help please. And also will throw a couple oscillating fans in there. Will get pics when room is finished. Cheers. All input appreciated. Happy :)

Will it work poorly and burn out fan? See i could take it out about 3 and a half feet high but it wont be highest point of the room.. Hot air rises..

do dwc setup and grow 3 plants in that space. dwc will fill that up with a scrog, big yields. i grew in soil for a while, dwc can't touch it

Lose the intake fan. The exhaust will pull air in passively.

Match the cool tube and the fan. If you have a 6" flange on your hood, use a 6" fan.

I am not understanding completely. You say you are running cool tubes and have a dedicated exhaust for them but no dedicated intake?

I would run:

fresh air intake >ducting > hood > ducting > hood > ducting > exhaust > out

and for the air circulation I would run:

a fan and filter exhausting hot room air, mounted near the ceiling. On the opposite side floor, I would have a passive intake vent twice the size of the exhaust. So if I had a 4" fan/filter, I would have an 8" intake.

PS

Do not skimp on the room ventilation. Do it right the first time. Buy the right gear. Get good quality stuff. Make it clean. Use 90 deg elbows for bends if you must. Limit the use of flex duct.

If you half-ass it, you'll be redoing it down the road. the right way. save yourself the $$ and headache.

Ventilation/circulation is one of the most important aspects of a grow room. You should spend a lot of time researching proper design.

Here is a very good thread on ventilation/fans and air flow:
