Here are some pix of my grow set up in my closet



I used: seed startin pottin mix, perlite,

and sand for my soil to have good drainage.

i put aluminum foil around my aquarium

i have 2 150 watt fluorescent light bulbs (2700 lumens each)

in a y shape fixture (2 way socket from lowes $2) but only

using 1 right now.

small fan running

ANY SUGGESTIONS PPL??

buy daylight cfl's for vegging(6500k), the 2700K's are good for flowering. buy a light strip from lowes and buy a couple more y-adapters and you'll be lookin good. be careful of mixes with time released nutirents they will burn the young seedling. I use 1part perlite, 1pt peat moss both non-miracle grow and 1pt mushroom compost. I add 1 tablespoon of lime per gallon of mix. I make sure my nutrients are water soluble. I'm guessing you're on a cheap budget, at any rate see if there is a hydro store around you and you can find something to fit you're budget. Ph the water to between 6 to 7, I do mine at 6.5. alright preciate it...i have the car sun blocker thingy...dunno what its called...its just like aluminum foil...is that good?

Hey cuz,if you got the bread,I suggest buying this T-5 system..it has only 2 bulbs,but each one is 5,000 watts!!So thats 10,000 watts of ultra blue light spectrum for growing the plants...High Tech Garden SupplyThat website is reliable as fuk,and that shit only cots like $80 shipping included!!Also,you want Mylar to reflect the light to your plants..more light=bigger plants=bigger harvest!!Check this out>>High Tech Garden Supply

That exact light would be great for your grow.

Also, foil creates hot spots which will burn your leaves. I suggest you go to a hydro shop and get some mylar. Your car sun blocker will work, also, I believe.

alright ima get it in 2 weeks man...i was suppose to go 2 miami and handle some business but it got delayed til da week after next and now im pissed cuz thats $7000 and my new car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1)But how do i tell males from females???

2)Why my leaves look like that???

3) When does vegetation start? (today the 31st is day 14)

too early to tell the sex.

check the ph of your soil, and your water, i would guess you arent sitting your water out 24 hours or more before getting it from the sink. gotta let the chlorine evaporate out of it.

its in a seedling/vegging stage.

Miami huh?My neck of the woods..anyways your plants are looking good...always make sure to water ONLY when the soil looks/feels dry...overwatering will fuck your plants up.Also,dont apply any fertilizers right now,cus theyr too small and it might burn them.As for how can you tell if theyr male/female...you cant right now.You gotta wait till theyr bigger,and then you switch to 12/12...after a week after you switch the plants will start showing sex...the females will grow long,white hairs on every internode...and the males will grow tiny,little balls that look like peas...take every male out..cus you dont want no bud with seeds in it!!

man i never knew keeping males around would produce seeds...hell yea!

lol....i love yall man!!!!!!!!!!! oh yea veggin stage is it light 24/7 or 18/6?

i seen so much shit online i dunno what to believe man

ima stick to da 24/7 cuz its easier 4 me...hustlers never get sleep but when i do
