Grow tent heating need help please.

i have a small grow tent 35 in x 35inches x 4ft 7 secret jardin rs60, what i need to know will a 125watt cfl dual spectrum be enough in this small tent to keep it warm enough for a couple of plants, as i was thinking of investing in an electric blanket to put under the waterproof mat that come with it, there's also cheap heat mats that you can buy for vivariums, I'm also thinking of buying a 300 watt cfl dual spectrum, if any one can help me i would be truly grateful.

Where do you live? Generally, this time of year we fight excess heat.

is your tent inside? if so heating shouldn't be a problem. just make sure you keep the temp in your house above 65 and you'll be fine.

i used the 85 dual spectrum (2 lights) and it was good to keep my plants warm kept them near 70 it helps that the light is only a couple inches from the plant. but if your growing in a basement you might be a little to cold and if its in an attic it might be opposite so. it mostly depends on your ambient temp.. good luck.

Yes, central Cali here. Have you considered a small space heater?

im alright ive got central heating i just thought if i put an electric blanket under the tent it might do the job plus save on the rip off bills

Definitely can't hurt your low temp probs and will probably help. My only concern is having a non-waterproof electric device lower than the bottom of your pots. Electricution/short is almost guaranteed to happen eventually.

true i think im going to opt for the rubber vavarium mat, i suppose i could put blanket in plastic bag, then put underneath the tent itself, then i would have the bag plus the tent plus the waterproof mat, ill afto sought something out.

I like it! Use what you got. I'm a HUGE fan of re-purposing and recycling. Just be aware of those little things that can ruin your day.
