A picture says a million words with grow tents.

Some cheap tent frames are pvc where a good one would be metal. The thickness of the tent is another factor.

The more vents/windows the better.

I just purchased a 1x1x2m groCELL tent for $100. And the quality is top notch.

Tent's are the first step to a stand alone room! You'll understand in a while.....They work,,but eventually, leave you wanting more....
Zippers should be rubbed with soap as soon as you get it! Reapply often. A zipper fail will make you go to a room fast!

If you can get a Gorilla - DO IT! Don't skimp on a tent!

I use the "Light House Hydro" tents. Pretty good quality for the $.
They are less expensive and sturdy.

find a cheap cupboard and just do the stuff on your own that way you can make sure everything fits your equipment properly and making changes later is easy enough because you put it together to begin with. I got my cupboards from ikea and they are prefect even made of fabric on the exterior with a zip opening just like a tent but i sorted both my tents for like £40 a piece for the tent and the mylar cover for the interior and then cut my own vent holes and yeah it works great!

I moved up from a make shift cupboard setup. It was like a breath of fresh air, not outgrowing that tiny space. Having room to setup lights and carbon filtering and to truelly be able to keep all the light in or out. Best $250 I've spent.
