Grow tent smell in basement

If i grow in my basement with a 3x3 tent for veg with no filter and a 8x8 tent with a good carbon filter for flower and a separate tent for trim/drying also with a separate carbon filter, how hard would my basement smell? since everything weed related would be contained in a tent

Supposedly a very stinky strain - headband aka sour kush (sour diesel x og kush)

It would smell like..... A basement. I run filters on my bloom tents and no filters on my mom and veg tents. You cant smell anything not even in the room all the tents are in. even as far as sound goes my a/c is the only thing you can hear outside of the room.

ok good im just guna move the grow to the basement. i was going to have it upstairs because i thought being in the basement it would stink up the house but then i thought yea if its in a tent thats being filtered with carbon it shouldnt smell.

i think the basements the best bet. Besides my room my basements just storage so no body has a reason to be down there. Out of sight out of mind!

Depends on the strain obvs. If you got a carbon filter on your flower tent you'll be ok... you might smell the veg tent when you're standing next to it..

Really huh. But with the veg tent closed in a room with the door shut it wouldnt leak to the living room of the basement would it?
and for trim/dry/cure can i do it all in a 2x2 tent with just a carbon filter always running and always keeping that door closed?
when i transfer to trim il put them all in a garbage bag then proceed to cure to do the max to contain smell

I live in an apartment and I grow in Veg without a filter ... no complaints. When I flower I wait until the 3rd week to start using it. The smell doesn't get too bad for me until then. I dry it all int the same tent when finished. In the dark. Filter on 24/7. I live in a large apartment complex and have roommates.

The only time they complain is when I smoke it.

I would put it in the basement because it will be easier to control the environment and extra heat can be vented up stairs. If you use air cooled hoods you could even pump the heat right upstairs without the smell getting through your sealed hoods and ducting. The filters you have on inside your tent are going to filter ALL ... "ALL" of the air in the room with the tents. One thing against the basement is moister. If your basement is moist, forget it. Mold problems and you'll go through filters faster. Remember you are filtering ALL the air in the room ... not just the tent. If your basement stunk before ... it'll smell like nothing with the filter running.
